Good bargain for good fun
I recently rewatched the movies and got an itch to replay this. I had it for the PS3 and Xbox 360 originally but both were glitched and couldn't reach 100%. This was a decent deal for the two games upgraded to the PS4. So far there have only been temporary glitches fixed with a restart. All of years 1-4 100%, not done with 5-7 yet but no trouble so far. I recommend to anyone a fan of the movies, game play is easy for all ages and skill levels.

Love LEGO HP
We bought this as a replacement of the XBox360 version. We’d almost beaten it last year, but then the XBox broke. We’re loving this replacement for the new console. It’s so much fine to play on your own or with someone else. Also, the humor and content is very family friendly, which is awesome!

Wonderfully designed world with love for detail BUT with a lot of bugs.
After we played the first 3 schoolyears, we want to give a feedback. From the beginning onwards the game makes a good impact with the typical music known from the movies and with funny and sweet characters. The game offers all kinds of details. Nearly every spell, pet, Animagus, character etc. has been considered. But in comparison to LEGO Star Wars I & II it’s much more confusing and not so clearly structured regarding the different levels because of the size of Hogwarts. But of course, nobody wants to miss exploring Hogwarts. Especially in the free game. Thanks to the ghost “The nearly headless nick” you always get shown the right way. The game is fun. My wife is always gaming several hours. For me it can’t keep up with LEGO Star Wars, but maybe men prefer Star Wars and Women prefer Harry Potter. The negative point I must mention - and the reason for only 4 stars instead of 5 – is on the one hand the unhelpful CPU. Because we almost always play together it’s never a problem for us, but if you play as single player sometimes you will have problems reaching the next level. For example: sometimes player one steps on a table or something similar and player two lifts the table up with Wingardium Leviosa so that player one can reached a higher floor. If you play as single player and you step on a table, sometimes you wait in vain for the CPU controlled character to lift the table up.On the other hand, there are lot of bugs I cannot understand. Of course, it’s a big game with a huge game world, but you can't compare it with an open world game like Assassins Creed. Especially because of the graphics. I just played the whole Assassins Creed II (published in 2009!) and I was confronted with less than a handful of bugs. In LEGO Harry Potter we are confronted with bugs almost all the time. Characters get stuck and can no longer be moved. Same with brooms which can no longer be ridden or with items you can levitate with Wingardium Leviosa. In the first three schoolyears alone, the game had 2 bugs which were so heavy that we had to restart the level and lost all progress up until that point. The next point is that in some levels you need a while till you see the solution because the game is missing a few explanations here. Every game needs its riddles and challenges but here it’s often just because of a bad or missing explanation. This is sometimes annoying. The whole story is much too complex to tell it without any voices only by pictures. Even if you can assume that everyone knows the story from the books and movies, at least one voice (a storyteller maybe) would have been good for the game.In conclusion you can say the purchase of this collection with all 7 years for only about 25 € is a good deal. A lot of hours to play and a lot of fun for a good price. However, it is questionable why the game has so many bugs, after it was specifically remastered for the PS4.
