I will try a few more times but this is the second time this issue has happened. I returned one, received a replacement the worked appropriately. I love the design and overall quality so I ordered another. I received it yesterday and immediately tried to untwist the circular plastic at the base of the globe. It appears to be cross threaded onto the glass.I rarely return to Amazon because I buy what I want and I do not like to take advantage of their return policies in order to keep their costs down therefore my costs. This is a case where there are no options other than wasting my money. My hope is that this company will fix this issue as aside from the base not unscrewing , it is an excellent product.I have not requested a refund nor replacement yet. I will try to open the bottom again. The globe is glass therefore I cannot use a lot of pressure for fear of breaking glass in my hand.I received a second replacement and it works as designed. Company reached out to me and they are addressing my concerns in order to get it right first time. Company is respectful and wants to do the right thing. Thank you!!!

This Decorman Crackle Globe Glass Lotus Solar Light is just beautiful and should definitely be displayed somewhere where the pattern it throws can be enjoyed against a wall or something similar. The pattern is lacy and very lovely. This solar light comes ready to use with no assembly needed. There is a switch on the bottom to turn on, then it just needs some sunshine to charge up, and it's ready to go and will turn on automatically at dusk. Very lovely addition to our outdoor decor.

Not too bright, not too dim. Perfectly fits in my kitchen as a little night light! A lovely little impulse purchase!

First one I got didn’t work. Sent a replacement that lasted 1 month. Garbage!

This is a beautiful decoration by day, and a pretty little light by night. The crackle glass globe is beautifully set in the midst the turquoise shaded petals, and the solar battery-powered light gives off a gentle glow that reflects off the petals after dark. Perfect for an outdoor table centerpiece, or as a focal point next to a garden pond.

Love this little solar light. It looks great and is super easy to assemble. You just flip the switch of the glass ball and set it in the base somewhere in the sun. It automatically turns on when the sun's down.It's also surprisingly sturdy. I had roofers over at my place last week and one of them bumped it and knocked it over. It was about 4 feet off the ground and fell onto concrete and didn't break. I was quite surprised to say the least. Good product, highly recommend.
