It is usefull for safe connection. I think it can only used for low loads.

Received as shown. I enjoy the design and use case. The simplicity and effectiveness is awesomePros:1) Quick connect/release. The plastic tabs are for pushing the actual metal contact. There is no physical spring2) Independent operation of release tabs on either side3) Overall acceptable pressure on wire strands after installation. Wire strands are not cut by the product4) Well suited for a quick connecting input live/neutral of false ceiling panel/spot lightsCons:1) Cannot be used for high current application (possibly more than 5 A) "as is". The generated heat (due to contact resistance) melts the plastic. I had tried it on my 2200W steam iron.2) Use of single wire upto 2.5 sq. mm on either side of openings is better suited. Even multiple 1 sq. mm wires does not put even pressure on both wires and chances are one of the wires may come looseSome recommendations while using this product:1) Do not twist wire strands while inserting freshly stripped wires. This way contact patch with conductor is increased2) Preferably do not use tinned exposed wire ends as it reduces contact area with this product increasing resistance and heat3) Test the strength of connection by lightly pulling it after installation so that later accidental release does not happen.4) Only wire strands should be inserted and PVC sheath should be outside metal contact patch otherwise connection may become intermittent

Quality is ok compared to the price. if your application needs frequent removal if wires, you can use these or else its always better to splice and joint the cable for permanent solution. The holder is not that strong to hold the cable tightly.

Easy to use .I have order this for my car audio setup at home with amps and woofer and coaxial speakers with component speakers.

Very bad product. item get burnt when supply given. Half of the quantity only supplied.

The connectors are aluminium - cheap.
