This persimmon soap bar lathers up well and abolishes the smell of nonenal. Expensive but worth the money imho. I shower with ordinary shower gel then use this soap only where needed. Am not keen on the soap's scent but it's far preferable to the musty smell many people develop as they age.

I started using this soap as chemotherapy changed my body chemistry and gave me a weird scent (that only I could smell apparently lol!). I have sensitive skin so I was worried it might cause irritation, but it has been genuinely amazing. The soap foams up nicely, smells fantastic, and I feel super clean after using it, plus it has completely taken care of the phantom scent! It is a bit expensive per bar and you do need to use body lotion/moisturiser after using it as it is quite drying, but for me it's the best soap ever and has become a regular purchase. Highly recommend!

The individual I purchase this regularly for suffers from premature nonenal (being pre-40 when this began). Despite good hygiene, the smell is overwhelming, particularly on fabrics and so can fill rooms. The science is effective: Japanese persimmon extract does indeed help eliminate the immediate skin odour as well as keep the grease more at bay, and certainly reduces exacerbation for laundry and linens. Hoping Amazon never discontinues the sale of this product, it not only benefits the individual but the household!

From first shower the strange odour i had begun to notice on my body and clothes has gone. 24 hours later skin still smells pleasamt. Highly reccommend

Bars are slightly smaller than regular bars but do their job. They produce a decent amount of Soap and smell and feel fresh on the skin. I use them 4 times a Week and it does the Job. More expensive than most Soap but the bars last for a while.

I bought this Japanese persimmon soap after hearing it can help with “aging odors,” and I’m genuinely impressed. The lather is good, it’s rich, creamy, and it spreads easily so a little goes a long way. It can leave my skin feeling a little dry or tight but I use a moisturiser when it does. What really stands out is how fresh I feel after using it. It noticeably helps neutralise body odours and keeps me smelling clean throughout the day. The scent itself is light and pleasant and it feels very refreshing. It is a little more expensive than a typical bar of soap, but in my opinion it’s worth it for the quality and how well it works. The bar lasts well and the results make the extra cost feel justified. After a couple of weeks of daily use, it’s become a staple in my shower routine. I was so pleased with it that I’ve also bought a few bars for my mum to try, as persimmon soap is known for helping reduce the “nonenal” smell that can build up in homes as we get older. I’m hoping it helps freshen things up for her too. If you’re looking for a soap that lathers well, feels great on the skin, and actually helps tackle stubborn odors, Japanese persimmon soap is absolutely worth trying. Highly recommended!

This soap is lovely to use. Its smell is a cross between Pears and carbolic soap mixed. I find it addictive….using it means I have lost that musty old people’s smell that we oldies fear smelling of. Thoroughly recommend it
