A little tricky with my rims but end result was excellent!
My rims have a very low center and offset spoke holes. It was a little tricky to get it to lay down nicely in the rim. I installed a tire and inflated it. After a day or so I took the tire off and the tape had formed perfectly to the rim! I am happy with this product.

Good Stuff
I used on 20 mm Internal width DT swiss rims. I used the 21 mm tape. Removed stickers from the inside of rims and then wiped down with rubbing alcohol. installed in a very hot garage in northern California over 100°. Tape went on, smooth and easy, overlapping the valve hole by two spokes on each side. Be sure to tug on it pretty good when you're applying it I did about 3 to 4 inch sections at a time. Take care with the hole for the valve stem is to not tear the tape. Once the valve stems were in, I put the tires on and was able to inflate them with a high volume floor pump. I used maxxis refuse 700 x32 Tubeless ready tires. They held air with no sealant for about 10 minutes before I noticed a pressure drop. After sealant, I pumped up again and 24 hours later they are at the same 60 PSI they were inflated to with the sealant. Haven't had a chance to take a ride yet, but all seems good, I think this tape was about half the price of the DT swiss tape and seems to work just as well based on my other set of wheels that have DT swiss tape. I like it , uh lot!

Installed cleanly and working well
The 21mm tape worked great for me setting up Velocity A23 rims with an internal diameter 18mm. It was my first time installing tubeless tape, but by maintaining tension and using a thumb to smooth down into the central groove while going along, it was not difficult to apply two layers without wrinkles or bubbles. Sitting on a low surface so where I could use my feet to help hold the wheel in place helped. The rest of the tubeless setup went well, with no signs of leakage from spoke holes in a couple of rides since. I can’t speak to how well the tape would stand up to repeated tire-levering or other abuse, and hope to have no reason to test that any time soon, but based on early experiences of installation and riding it seems to work well and to be a good value for the money. I have no complaints.

Tubeless Standard
Stan’s is the tubeless standard. Great value for the money. Never had a challenge with sealability!

Best if your rims/wheels are newer, developed for tubeless....
Used Stans tape to convert an older set of E13 rims to tubeless. The inner profile of the rim was shaped in a way that made it difficult for the tape to lay down flat and properly seal. I had to re-tape one wheel in the process because it wouldn't hold air. I wouldn't go so far as to say this is the fault of the tape. If it had been a Stans rim/wheel or something more contemporary I think it would have been fine. The nature of this tape is that there isn't a lot of elasticity to it, so it was less forgiving. Due to this, I am giving it four stars. If you are converting an older set of wheels, try Muc-Off tape as it has a bit more stretch and is a little more forgiving.

Great Choice Of Tape For Your Tubeless Conversion
I originally tried Gorilla Tape as rum tape to go tubeless, but was not successful. I could not get the correct width or correct coverage for the width of my rim (19mm inside diameter). The spike holes may have been sealed but I could not get the bead to seal enough to the rims to inflate & seat. I purchased Stans Yellow Spoke Tape (21mm) & was successful first try.21mm tape works in a rim w/a 19mm inside diameter because the length along the inside of the rim following the “U” form is approximately 24-26mm (I didn’t do the math). This allows for a couple/three mm of exposed rim on either side, for the bead of the tire. You want the bead to sit between the tape & the edge of the rim walls. If the bead does not set, you cannot get an air tight seal. You do not want the tape to cover the entire floor of the rim.The rims I converted to tubeless are not tubeless ready. In fact, the rims have schrader to presta valve adapters installed. These adapters are “collars” that fit in the valve holes & have a split in them to allow for compression/expansion for installation. This split allows for a large amount of air to leak from the rim. If your using Stan’s rim tape, your rims are either not tubeless ready or your replacing the tape. In either case, remove whatever rim tape is in the rims. I then cleaned the rims w/Simple Green then alcohol. Once completely dry, I applied 2 layers of rim tape (to build up the center for the tire bead & to seal the valve holes) while insuring any air bubbles, as much as possible, were squeezed from under the tape. Initially I had an issue w/the tape splitting while pressing flat. I quickly realized it was due to my thumbnail. Once I used my index finger to press the tape flat & press air bubbles out, I no longer had tape splitting issues. You do not need the tape to stretch, in fact, Stan’s rim tape does not stretch. You just need to pull it taught so it lays flat. You do not need to muscle the tape into place. Just make sure you lay it onto the inside of the cleaned rim flat, centered, allowing room for the tire bead & remove the air bubbles.I used Stan’s NoTube tire sealant for the conversion & was successful on both my MTB tires on the first try. Just make sure your rims & tires are clean & dry, then take your time w/the tape. You’ll get it as well.Thank you for taking the time to read my review, I hope you found it helpful.

Really easy installation
A good friend of mine said that converting my bike to a fully tubeless system will really make the tires perform at a higher level with increased grip and reduced rotating mass. I have an old but good Santa Cruz Bullit MTB with 26" rims and I already had tubeless ready Maxxis tires so I decided to fully convert.Wow, this tape is so easy to use and did a great job sealing my rims. Instead of buying the kit that comes with the tape, valve stems and a small amount of sealer I bought all the items separate and basically paid the same price but with a much larger 20oz container of sealer...These are the other 2 items I recommend getting plus as an added bonus item I got that makes the installation even easier.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00159O3NU?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1&psc=1https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004YIE2FS?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071FDY4XR?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1
