Real food for busy people.
I love this book! The recipes are easy and with real food. I’m kinda picky but found plenty of things I will eat. My only complaint is there isn’t more books with more recipes. Hope the author makes more carb cycling books!

Five Stars All The Way
I can not say enough good things about this book. There is so much information on the proper way to lose, gain, and maintain weight. But, unfortunately, so much of it isn't very clear. Shoshana does a fantastic job laying out all the science in an easy-to-understand way in 12 pages. That's right. The how and why is summed up to 12 pages. It doesn't matter where you are in your fitness journey; you will find this approach to carb cycling incredibly helpful.The rest of the book is divided into really well-organized meal plans with recipes and grocery lists that make things easy if you are cooking for one or two people or a family. All of these meals would be very satisfying to other family members who do not want to carb cycle. The meal plan is beneficial in allowing one person in a family to pursue their health and fitness goals without making different meals for everyone. I mean, who has time for that? It also makes it easy to figure out what to eat if you have to travel a lot for your job.The book also includes an entire workout plan which you can do at home with bodyweight, dumbbells/bands, and a chair. Shoshana has it split between Cardio, HIIT, and Strength Training and easily maps out what to do if you are a beginner in fitness or intermediate or advanced.I highly recommend this book. Buy it, and you can thank me later!

Super helpful and easy to digest!
I was afforded a great opportunity to get my hands on an Advanced Reader Copy! There is a lot of things we can assume with Carb Cycling. High Output, High Carbs, Low Output, Low Carbs. But Shoshana has put a second level into the understanding. She gives us a look into the science behind why it works. The beginning of the book gives us comprehension on the subject and walks us through from novice to intermediate to expert levels. You have the opportunity to build out your exact macros that you'd like to baseline from. Again, Shoshana does this in a way that is very easy to digest.We then get an amazing breakdown on meal preps. Again, baseline. Something to start you off and then give yourself the opportunity to grow into your own perfect meal plan for your body. There is a total shopping list as well that will be super helpful. All of the guess work is taken out. You will just need your meal discipline.Finally we have a comprehensive understanding of body movements and exercises. As a Marine Veteran, we're not always afforded the luxuries of a gym, so having plyometrics and body weight movements have always been in our physical fitness regimen.So, whether you're just starting out on a weight loss or weight gain or weight sustain journey and looking to try Carb Cycling - do yourself a favor and get this book. It will help you master the basics and build out that robust training plan you'll need to accomplish your goals!

Easy Read
I’ve been struggling with weight loss due to being stuck at home during these Covid times. This book did a great job of breaking down the best ways to loose weight without cutting out your favorite foods or meals. And the recipes and shopping lists are great!

This book is amazing!
I’ve heard about carb cycling, but didn’t know where to start. I was able to get my hands on an advanced review copy of this book, and I am so happy I did! I was at a plateau with my weight loss journey, and finally started losing weight again. The recipes are really great and the book covered everything I needed to do for success. I highly recommend this book if you feel like you’re struggling with weight loss!

Carbs are NOT bad!!!
So many misconceptions cleared up with this book that it has restored my faith in the almighty carbohydrate. So many people, myself included, derive themselves of carbs because of the calories associated, not realizing that the right kinds of carbs can be truly beneficial! Guilty as charged! I have since changed my ways, not to loose weight specifically, but to maintain and gain energy at the same time. Shoshana writes what people need to hear on this topic and with the great recipes and easy to follow schedule, you can see and feel a difference in a short amount of time!I have always paid so much attention to the food choices but wondered why I was hungry so often. After reading this book, it all makes sense.Don't take my word for it, read it and follow the plan-you you feel better and the rest will follow!
