It kind of sucks because the base of the saw looks like it can bend easily if you're not too careful. **Q: Is the base plate durable? it's thinner than my hitachi saw's plate, but didn't feel flimsy like a cheaper skil saw. will it get bent up easily?** A: I have 4, and they are extremely durable, the oldest 1 is over 10 years.
