I really enjoyed gaging these sardines as a snack over rice, or with crackers. Delicious and my husband ‘s last name is Ortiz I had to get these. I am planning to get more for the holidays. Definitely a good buy for a special delight

I read about the nutritional value of sardines. Those fresh caught from Portugal and other European countries are supposed to be some of the healthiest on the market. I’ve had them from grocery stores like Trader Joe’s, Publix, Walmart. Most of those had high sodium content (accept Trader Joe’s but they were skinless and boneless, which is where a lot of the nutrients come from). So, I thought I’d I try this variety pack, which had sardines from Italy, Spain, and Portugal. None of them had brisling sardines, which are supposed to the best, and they all had high sodium content. The flavor was fine, but I did not find them to be any better than what you find in grocery stores and big box stores. Disappointed in the high sodium content as it negates the health benefits.

These beat the living daylights out of the grocery store sardines. I don't know if ill be able to go back.1. Polastrini - Awesome complicated flavor. It almost reminds me of good sword fish2. Ortiz - big sardines with a ritch sweet flavor3. Angelo Parody - like polastrini but more subtle4. Nuri - HUGE sardiens with a light flavor and flaky texture.

Far superior to any dines you'll find in any standard American supermarket. They are considerably more expensive, but totally worth it if you want to treat yourself and love a nice can of sardines.

I used it for breakfast. The sardines are slightly large in size.
