Shockingly bad. Avoid!
I was browsing on Amazon and I spy this and I am thinking to myself I had this already. I look on my bookcase shelf (the one with all the books on Bob, reggae and rap and music in general - biographies - references billboard charts - official uk charts - that type of thing), when I notice I don't have this. It rings a bell but I think ok I'll order it.Hmmmmm.There was a reason I didn't have it! I threw it out. This is a hand size version of a book I had years ago which was a larger (A4) sized tome.I agree with one person here. This is just awful. The writing is just plain bad, that kitchy way some Americans write in. Trying to be clever anduse references to Bob's lyrics in prose (doesn't work at all), factually inaccurate all over the shopBob Marley famously sung of 'Kingston 12', yet, the first chapter is titled 'Kingston 13' for example. And then there is the reason I threw the bookaway in the first place. On page 29 there is a photo which states ' Bob Marley in 1982, visibly carrying the weight of his illness but still struggling on. 'now as someone who has spent 30 years loving his music and learning about his life I can tell you that photo is most likely from late 1980.Secondly, as even casual fans will tell you Bob died on the 11th of May 1981.There are some great books about Bob out there. Timothy White's isn't great. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Bob-Marley-Untold-Chris-Salewicz/dp/0007255535/ref=sr_1_sc_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1517530413&sr=1-1-spell&keywords=bob+marley+chris+s+books this one however is very good.

Title is very misleading
This is a pretty good book covering the songs Bob recorded during his Island carrier - 1973 to 1980. The title is very misleading however, because it states "every" song, while the entire first two thirds of his career are not truly covered. Bob & The Wailers recorded over 200 songs from 1964-1972 and the Author chose to write about 14 or o of them.
