That is because it’s USELESS as it’s located UNDER your thigh. And unless you are about 8” wide, you will be scrunched up and curled INTO this thing. Extremely uncomfortable!! If you want something to ONLY lay back in, it might suffice. But, if you also want to sit around a fire and possibly roast some marshmallows, forget it! Also note: this is not a fold up and go type of chair. It is more like a tent in pieces that you HAVE to assemble with each use because if you pick it up it comes apart.
