Bulbrite Q35CL/GU10 120-Volt Halogen DJD Type Tubular Bulb, GU10 Base, 35-Watt

I have a crazy lamp that I found took this type of bulb. It isn't the same watt but it works.

I needed a replacement light bulb for an often used lamp, found it on Amazon, ordered it, it arrived within days, screwed it in, and we are back in business. Easy Peasy.

If you need this type of bulb for your light (which I did and it didn't come with the light I purchased), then this is a good price and good quality. I could not find this light locally in the DC area stocked in any major hardware stores. However, I randomly weeks later saw it at a Restoration Hardware outlet store at a very reduced price tag and still slightly more expensive than this one. I got this FREE ONE DAY PRIME shipping and still the price couldn't be beat. If the bulb could be found locally at a hardware shop, it may have been cheaper, but I needed the bulb same day to show the county inspector the light worked to pass my inspections and Amazon Prime came through for me!

When I flip my light switch the bulb turns on for half a second then burns out.

These are very good bulbs in my reading lamp. They last a long time if you insert and remove them using a cloth. Finger use significantly reduces the longevity of the bulbs.

Works fine. But made mistake, I needed the frosted ones. My mistake.

It is hard to find tubular bulbs with a GU 10 base. Most bulbs with this base are for spot or track lighting, and will not fit a fixture that takes a tubular. So glad to find this. This is the lower wattage version, but it provides enough light to read by. Arrived on time and in good condition.

Previous bulb (diff brand) lasted 2 years, replaced it w 1 of these; lasted 4 months. Hope it was an exception.
