This is an attractive adventure for kids, a very commendable offering from #ReadoJunior
To write a review for a writer of Manjiri Prabhu’s stature borders on arrogant enthusiasm.Hence I will say my piece purely as a reader. The basic premise of the story is this.A mischievous cat Mithoo is banished (albeit temporarily) from Omland, the land of angels, goodness, ethics, and talking animals, to Manaspuri, the land of humans, who are, well, humans with all their boorishness, greed, aggression, and more. There is a caveat for Mithoo to return home.Mithoo has to balance his sheet of pranks with good deeds. The rest of the story is about whether Mithoo manages to do so and when the crunch time comes does he choose his erstwhile heaven or continues his tryst with humans.Any seasoned writer will tell you that writing for children is a difficult art. You have to undo your erudite writing prowess, write in a gentler tone. Crisp and succinct.Dr. Manjiri Prabhu’s latest book, 'The Adventures of Mithoo' scores very high in that area. The way tender friendships are etched between traditionally thought of as enemies ( cats & dogs) and how vital life mantras are conveyed to the readers by weaving conflicts and their happy resolutions - the 'show' technique rather than 'tell' technique of long moralistic lecture, makes this book a very happy read! Kudos! The cover is very captivating. The illustrations make apt foils to the unfolding tale. This is an attractive adventure for kids, a very commendable offering from #ReadoJunior

A Simple book reminding us about the simple truths in life
I picked this book seeing a kitty on the cover and it was the best decision ever! The tales & adventures of Mithoo kept me engrossed for the larger part of an hour and I finished this in one sitting.I loved loved loved Mithoo. The golden kitten with kind eyes. I like the premise of the book that he has to do good so that he can learn his lessons and go back to Omland! The tales are small and heartwarming but each holding a deeper lesson in kindness and love. This book is perfect for a child to learn about the joy of loving an animal or an adult who has forgotten them :-)

The book is divided into small chapters each encompassing a small story about how Mithoo converts all her wrong-doings into good deeds. Strongly recommend
"The Adventures of Mithoo" - The journey of a Magical Kitten is such a sweet story of a kitten who is sent to Earth due to his mischief and naughtyness. It was instructed that in order to get back to the place where Mythoo belonged to, it must cover up his mistakes with the Good deeds. When the Kitten lands to Earth, his journey to transform people life, to bring smile on their face and to create a beautiful world begins.Since the Mythoo was a magical kitten, the story seems like a fairy tale.It can be the best and favorite read especially for children.I loved this story equally which brought back my childhood memories. The theme of the good is moral based and gripping.I finished this Book in one sitting.Couldn't find anything in this book to dislike..Would strongly recommend to everyone.

Fantastic book ☺️📚
It's been a long time I read such kind of books. This book is really a medium of refreshment and going back to reading those books which don't consist so many twists and turns. Rather they provide a clear picture of the plot as a whole. Besides, also aids in making the readers proceed in a smooth way.So this book is about a little kitten named Mithoo. The book is all about some magical events and all other activities revolving around Mithoo. Mithoo lives in a magical land with magical powers. But suddenly be was dropped into Manaspuri land of humans with no magical ups and down. Now from here there starts an another yet thrilling journey in Mithoo's life. The book is divided into 14 interesting chapters with crafted and beautiful illustrations. I really loved this book. There was no such area which made me feel like not reading this book. As I completing each and every chapter it was prodding me to read more and more. I was really impressed with the way the author of this book wrote this book.Manjiri Prabhu, is the author of this book. The way the author has written this book is not only simple to understand but also amazing to praise her brilliant mind in writing this book. This book is a must read for all.

Loved this Book
Mithoo is a cute magical kitten from Omland. He was so naughty to break the rules of Omland and arrived to ManasPuri ( Place where humans live ) as a punishment. To counter all the naughtiness by doing good deeds in Manaspuri.Mithoo definitely disliked the humans place when he arrived but gradually he is taken care by Krishna and loves the life he is provided with. Each story not just talks about Mithoo's Magic stories but they pass out positivity. My personal favorite story is "Mithoo removes the Block".All the stories are too simple yet sweet. One can understand that our mistakes vanishes when we replace them with good deeds. This book highlights Animal Love. The Author has written this book so beautifully that I felt like visiting Omland, Manaspuri at least once. Also I loved the pure heart of Village people. The ending of the book is again inspiring as the decision taken by Mithoo is selfless and bold. This book is perfect gift for children.Overall Loved this book.
