When I thought I was facing obsolete products, I found the best I'd seen!
I am impressed! I wanted to have a (just plain old FM) small, portable radio to listen to while working in the yard, etc.I found that retail stores no longer sold them! I can understand this, so I turned to the internet and Amazon was my usual 1st go-to. Even they had almost no selection from which to choose. The one that seemed to fill the bill was one I's never heard of, but I gave it a try. It has everything I need, plus in a neat package half the size I expected. The performance meets every expectation. FM and Public Radio offers a lot, and I'm a happy guy

USB charging.
Pick up a lot of music. Sound quality good, reminds me of the Walkman from my youth.

It took a while to get used to
I can't really complain, it was cheap enough. It is quite small, and it helps to have small fingers to operate it and I don't have tiny fingertips. I'm always leery about these rechargeable batteries even at the miniscule scale as this. The instructions were, to me, like the Chinese, quite inscrutable. It will sit in its box for dire emergencies. UPDATE: now that I have been using it a while, my opinion has changed. It is easy to carry in my pocket while walking. The recharge feature beats buying batteries and the charge lasts for quite a few hours- for me, a couple of days. I have learned to use the functions on my own. It is a useful small radio which took me some getting used to. I learned that it just what I needed for what I bought it for. Two stars have been added to the rating.

Great product for the money
After 2 1/2 years of daily use my former Btech gave out with inoperable buttons and a swollen case so I thought I'd try this one which is very similar but 40% cheaper in price. So far I think it's a bit better but I wish it had the same size charging plug as I have for my phone and the former radio. This one is bigger and charges from a HDMI port.I'm pleasantly surprised by the superior feel of the buttons and the quality of the sound on both AM and FM. I hope it lasts. The user friendliness is enhanced by the simple way to preset individual stations and the rational key layout; however, I'm a bit surprised that the clock does not offer a 12 hour time format option with no instructions to even tell you how to set the 24hr time. You have to go online for instructions for that which is a bit frustrating since that's logically the first thing you do after you fully charge the battery,

Item returned: not functional at all.
Unfortunately this radio did not work at all for me. Headphones connected loosely, therefore causing static. Also had very poor reception when it did work.

Cheap quality, loud clicking tuner
An example of the adage: "You get what you pay for."On first inspection, this radio really looked cheap. Dollar store cheap- and, don't get me wrong-I've bought goods at Dollar Stores. The quality of the plastic seemed fragile, as it would break in several pieces if dropped.I found two AA batteries and powered up the unit. Sound quality was so-so. The FM reception was okay for local stations, but not great for any station with a lower signal. As for AM, it pulled in the stations with a strong signal, but not much more. (In conjunction with this purchase, I bought a Jameson model from Amazon- that model worked like a champ for less strong, low frequency, limited range stations. It had a misaligned tuner, but the sound quality made that issue forgivable. Audio quality was nice and clear with great reception performance). The Hapito model had a real annoying loud clicking noise when I used the tuner. I know that's related to the DSP tuner. It was very noticeable.I returned this one and kept the Jameson model.
