I have tried what I believe to be EVERYTHING. I brush my dog’s teeth 3x week, and he still got a lot of plaque buildup. I looked for what could help and bought 3 different toothpaste, a powder that goes on the food and it’s supposed to dissolve the plaque, the liquid you add to their water, the bones.. idk what else is there but this has finally been the solution.Yes, it took patience from both parties to have some meaningful accomplishment. I can’t clean his whole mouth on one sitting, but he will allow me to clean one or two teeth at a time - compromise!I started by desensitizing him from the tools. I’d only show it to him and then feed him a treat. Then I’d get it close to him and feed him a treat. Touch his snout with it and feed again, until i eventually touched his teeth and then progressed to lengthier time on his teeth. You get the idea!This has been a godsend tool and I’m so happy that I’m finally able to see a substantial improvement and that his oral care will be a lot better! I definitely recommend a tool like this! Be -VERY- patient, but work persistently and progressively and you’ll get awesome results!

these tools were so affordable and worked amazingly. they are still good quality and have some wight to them, not cheap feeling and feel strudy. i used the pointed pick and flat scraper mostly and they did wonders. that being said please research how to properly scrape your dogs teeth before doing so otherwise you could cause damage

Use quite often for any plaque that doesn’t come off with regular toothpaste brushing. My dog just lays there and lets me do my dentistry work on her, they work for me

I’ve been concerned about the calcified tartar on my husky’s back teeth. Her dental chews don’t seem to have helped prevent this. The tools work great. I was only able to scrape off about 80% of it but it’s a wonderful start.
