Funny older movie. Arrived on time. And played well. Best price as well

Awesome classic

Because I watched this as a child I now, as an adult have vocal stims.

When nature calls is a very good guilty pleasure. It has a lot of hilarious moments and also a lot of moments from the first one, but that's ok because his character would do those things all the time. I won't get into if it's fit for children because I'm a mother who believes in expression of art and that includes film. This is by far on the top list of so bad they are good...and really good. My final thoughts are this is definitely worth owning if not for nothing...the party scene and the Rhino scene. I spent quite a bit on this for Blu Ray and didn't bat an eye. Just buy it!

Both this and the first movie are the best ones i ever watched.

I love this movie and wanted to share it with my 7 yr old daughters. My husband thought it might be too mature, but they're just young enough that the few adult references go over their heads - and there are very few. Otherwise, I think the movie is actually very immature and my girls thought it was hilarious ;)

If there was to be just one pop-culture character with 'franchise' written all over it, it would be Ace Ventura. After the sleeper hit that was the original, Ace is shipped off to Africa, via Tibet, to find the missing sacred animal of the peaceful Wachati tribe. It is supposed to be a wedding gift to the savage Wachutu tribe, marking the congregation of their people. Ace is the best there is (the only there is) surely sending him to find the sacred bat (his most hated creature) is the 'right' thing to do. No matter how crazy he is. And how crazy indeed! This time around Jim Carrey goes completely wild as Ace. Any trace of an actual human that we saw before is surrendered to complete insanity. You can tell that Carrey is having the time of his life just ad-libbing and winging it. You can almost hear director Steve Oedekerk struggle to contain his laughter off-camera. There are even a few moments when Carrey himself almost cracks-up. I prefer the sequel to the first for a few reasons. First of all the production design is far superior and the faux-African jungle (actually South Carolina) and tribal village colors really come alive. The widescreen photography gives the film a more expansive look than Tom Shadyac's original. Plus, it has a lot more animals, which I think is cool. You gotta love the 'alrighty then' meditation scene too. Beside's the animated show (a few episodes are featured on this DVD set), there's been no more of Ace Ventura since. But don't rule him out. Carrey may be sick of being regarded as the guy who once made his anus talk, but I can only hope he'll do a third one day.

This movie really makes me laugh. A lot of the gags are child-like, and that's the whole point. Ace acts like a big kid who doesn't care what anybody thinks about him. You can live vicariously through his antics. There are so many funny scenes, and I love quoting them with my friends. And we always laugh really hard at remembering them. Even when I pull up quotes from this movie on my phone... they always crack me up. It's too bad we never got a third Ace Ventura movie. I'm not sure if Jim could pull it off this late in the game. But we still have this one to laugh over. Carrey is fantastic in this movie. Of the two, I like this one the best.

全編、爆笑ネタでひっきりなしですが、 サイの出産と思わせて、エース・ベンチュラの顔がサイの乗り物の お尻からじわじわと出てくるシーンが特に気に入ってます。 ジム・キャリーさんの顔芸、最高です！

It's a challenge to try and explain to people what Ace Ventura is and why it's funny. The best way - Because it just is. Ace Ventura - When Nature Calls stars Jim Carrey. That information alone will give you some idea of what to expect. The film does have a story, it does have other good performances, it does have elements of a good film, but Carrey just steals the show... I'm still not sure if he has a kind of humour that I'm supposed to enjoy, I just know I do. You will laugh out loud for the majority of this film plainly because of the facial expressions, odd phrases, outlandish accents and qwerky movements of Ace Ventura. You can tell that this part was written for Carrey, because without him it wouldn't be played well, and I'm convinced that no othr actor would be able to pull off a performance like this. Watch it, and you'll see what I mean.
