This had some bad reviews pertaining to damage, and trouble with customer support etc, but I received it by Fed-Ex and it had a hole in the side of the box and a corner was a little crunched (it happens) but the young Fed-Ex driver said to go ahead and get it opened up and check (after he got it part way in house for us)!! and he gave me his personal cell# and said "if it is damaged in any way I will swing by here tomorrow and pick it back up! We are both disabled so it took me a bit to get it opened up but it was in perfect shape!! I kind of wonder if someone had made that hole to have a way to grab that big heavyyy box?? anyway I am 100% satisfied with it, looks better than I envisioned, matches the chairs I had already perfectly and was a breeze for my daughter to put together, they even commented on how nice it looked! The ONLY issue I have is the little buttons on the bottoms of the legs slide around on my laminate floor very very easy so I will just go to the Dollar store and get some little flat rubber stick on pads to keep it from moving! I got the Cherry/black one and it is beautiful, the butterfly leaf opens well and all pieces were there.

My dream table!!! Need 2 people to build to flip the table over after screwing the top onto the base. Opens smoothly, sturdy, and looks nicely polished! Paired this with the matching bench nook and I’m so happy I did!

My roommate and I just finished assembling this table. As others have written, it is beautiful, very well made, sturdy and heavy with the feature of underneath leaf storage if you desire to use it - we will be using the leaves always. BUT...I sharply disagree with the comments that is easy to assemble. You can assemble it for sure although Amazon for a bit over $100 offers an assemblage service but it takes some time & care. The manufacturer supplies the screws, wrenches, washers, etc. you must have in a small packet..don't lose them. LOOK FOR THE 1-SHEET DIRECTIONS...you'll need it and it was missing from our order; I called the mfgr who promptly e-mailed it to me plus I found it on the Internet. THIS IS IMPORTANT...the directions are NOT sufficiently explanatory. It is not easy to figure out how to take out the leaves assuming that you desire to-you have to figure it out but eventually you will. Just as important, if you assembling it with the leaves you will find it necessary to jiggle the leaves to get the built-in attachment screws to fit in the corresponding holes in the panels. The trick is NOT to try to jam or push hard..it won't work..you have to LIFT the black rectangle on the underside a TINY amount..in other words you can't jiggle from side to side, you must jiggle a tiny amount UP AND DOWN..that will get the screws of the leaves into the panel holes. So no, the assembly is not a piece of cake but it is doable (took us about l-2 hours total; we're not all that adept at this stuff) and once completed you'll have a beautiful and sturdy well-made piece of dining room furniture.

The table is the perfect size. It came very well packaged. The instructions were easy to understand. I am very impressed by the quality. Much of the modern furniture today is made with particleboard. This is made with solid wood. If I could give it six stars, I would.

Have had this table for 2 years, it is still sturdy, the leaf mechanism works well, and it still looks great. I do keep a tablecloth on it becau I’m really bad about scratching my furniture. Would buy again.

arrived broken but didn't know it because we couldn't assemble until a month later. Surgery and other complications. Seller, OJ Commerce said too bad, even though the 30 days had not expired. They said check with East West East West wasn't too responsive since they are a reseller for China and said it was OJ's problem, but East West has a 6-month warranty that covers defective products, not wear and tear. If the products are damaged during transit, it will be the seller’s responsibility. This is the info that I sent: "We were not able to unpack and assemble the table until yesterday (2-5) because my wife had spinal surgery (1-9) and I have a mobility problem (87 yrs old). Two carpenter friends of ours started to assemble the table yesterday only to discover one side of the wooden movable track was broken. Consequently, the table will not close. Apparently, the tabletop carton was damaged in shipment...probably dropped although there was no apparent carton physical damage. We wonder if a replacement wood tract is available unless you have some other remedy in mind. I don't believe we need a replacement top as our carpenters are attempting to repair the damage. By the way, the table is perfect for application...very well made. Hoping to hear from you". East West still doesn't understand, all we wanted was a replacement part in case the repair failed, and we would pay for it. Two poor companies to deal with...very disappointed. Everyone passing the buck.

I love this table. Especially that the leaf is stored inside the table. It goes perfect with my Windsor chairs. I will highly recommend this company. Their customer service is the best I have dealt with in many years.
