I am using them as night lights ans they work perfect. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ceramic lanterns work again!!! *by D***. on Reviewed in the United States on February 11, 2021* Have had 3 ceramic lanterns for about 8 years but 2 didn't last much more than a year. Used these to replace the solar powered light because they were the same wide-mouth jar-size. These do not have the weather-proof housing that tightly fit like the old solar cell, batteries and light. So as to thickness, they are nice and thin and sit nicely in place of the old ones but do not have the weather-proofing. The ceramic lanterns are protected on a covered patio and in drier Arizona weather. They still get enough Arizona sun too. In the 2 pack I received, one of the lights works well and provides a bright white light. The second did not work for the first several nights, and so far is inconsistent. The lights sit next to each other and should provide the same light.
