Would this be too young for a 7yo boy?

My 7yo loves it as he can put it together himself without help. It has worked very well as a present for both my 7 and 3yr olds as they both get different enjoyment from it.

Does this fall apart easily? I’ve had a few other sets that literally fall apart with the slightest touch
