But be aware: if you have a "phablet" size phone, it isn't going to fit as shown in the picture. That pocket will fit an iPhone 5s but nothing much bigger. I have a Nexus 6P and it won't go in there - I keep it in the main compartment. Still a great pouch with lots of internally-divided storage to keep things from scratching each other. I store a spare charger/cable, my Nexus 6P phone, a backup iPhone 5s for an emergency GPS, my belt knife (while wearing my pack, I can't wear it directly on my belt), a flashlight, a compass, a sharpie, a lighter, a small multi-tool, and a few other tidbits in there and they all basically disappear.
