Strong and sturdy! Perfect for my deck rails!
I love these rail planters! Sturdy material, sets well on my deck rail and holds a lot of flowers. I always get compliments! Be sure to use the brackets underneath to stabilize your planter, otherwise they can blow off during a hard wind (I found out the hard way thinking they would not budge if I didn’t have the brackets on). I’ve used mine season after season and they hold up well! Even a little green frog likes to hang out under it!

3rd buy
Bought one in 2023 and another 2024. I live in Alabama where the summers are brutal and the heat usually cracks everything plastic in one summer. These have held up great, so I’m back in ‘26 for my third. They fit the porch great and I’ve never had issues with wobbling or tilting.

great for 4" rails
Apparently, I have a unique rail width of almost 4". See photo. I almost bought another planter until I realized it only allowed for a max 3.5" rail. I purchased this one instead to plant herbs on my railing. I did worry that this one would not sit down far enough on the rail, but my concern was unfounded. This product is well made and worked for me. I lined the trough areas on either side with pebbles to weigh it down some and help with drainage. There are also fasteners that can be attached at the bottom to help with stability. I added a photo where you can see the tracks underneath where the fastener's teeth can grab. I can only use one fasterner, due to my rail's width, but not sure it really needs it. does make it feel slightly more stable with it (less rocking when I try to shift it around). When I filled with dirt, it sat comfortably on my rail without the fastener. My balcony has seen several wind gusts, which has whipped my basil plant around. It is still alive, but I would probably suggest shorter plants, like oregano, if you live in a very windy area. Upside is this is very easy to grab and place elsewhere until the strong winds pass. I purchased 32 dry quarts of potting mix and had soil leftover. maybe a little over 1/3 of the bag. so I used maybe 20-25ish dry quarts (with drainage rocks below)? I had other plant projects, so this leftover didnt worry me. But I wouldnt suggest getting less soil. The terra cotta color is nice and looks classy. Would recommend.

Not as good as expected.
Here's what I like about the product. 1. I got it relatively cheap. 2. It is nice and deep, allowing roots to grow downwards as they are intended to do. 3. I like the color and the fact that it is U.V. protected. Even so, I protect the side that gets hit by the afternoon sun by placing a white plastic tray in front of the planter on that particular side. That also helps keep the soil cooler, and the plants definitely like it. Here's what I hate about it. 1. Because it's made for rails, the inside of the planter has the plastic partition going straight through the middle of the planter. Therefore, if you're planting a plant like a cucumber, you have to put the seeds to the side of the planter. But when the plant grows, although the roots can go deep, they are restricted too much on both sides of the planter (because of the partition down the center), and therefore the plant struggles to develop a good root system. In other words, don't use this for plants need a big root system, and love a lot of water. 2. I don't like that the description is not clear on what material, exactly, this planter is made from. I had to read through the Q & A section to find an answer from the seller. Is there a reason why this information cannot be disclosed fully? Or maybe the seller does not know the exact nature of the material? Or maybe they do know and they don't want to tell us? Could it be leaching poisonous materials into my edible plants? I'm not sure, and the seller should provide clarity on this, if they have not already done so. 3. It is not stable on all railings as claimed. On thin railings that the unit fits into, there is no way on earth that I feel comfortable securing the planter with the included two plastic clamping units, or whatever you call them. I tried, and promptly decided to leave the planter on the floor! In essence, this planter would be great for flowers or plants with smaller root systems, like peas or beans, and for positioning on thicker railings.

Nice large planters
I had to return because they just didn't fit what I needed them for. But that isn't the manufacturers fault. Return was easy and refund issued quickly. I wish I could have used them because they were really nice planters. Good quality and very sturdy.

Read carefully about how this will fit your rail
Just sent these back to Amazon. There was sorrow in my heart. Why? Good question. I took the time to measure my deck rail and it measured 5.5 inches. Description says it will fit on a 6 inch rail. This is accurate but not helpful. Another reviewer said it fits a 6 inch rail. What you need to know is that it sits on top of the rail like a regular flower pot. It does not snug up into the pot bottom. It looks like you would need a rail that was closer to 4 inches if you wanted the planter to slide snug into the cutout. Otherwise if your rail is wider than 4 inches it’s just going to sit on top of the rail. I returned these because there didn’t seem to be enough stability to the pot just sitting on the top of rail without sliding down to the cut off. So disappointed because it is a nice pot in all other ways. I just didn’t want to be picking up a mess every time we have a storm.

I’ve have 6 of these planters on my deck for several years. They are multi-fit, for wood railing on thinner ones such as wrought iron. I leave them there all winter. They are very sturdy. I would highly recommend them.

I really like this balcony flower pot and i bought two. But it only gave one stand on the bottom for each pot and it is not so stable and safe especially on the fifth floor. Could you kindly give me the second stand for each pot to safely stabilize the two pots on balcony.

Compre 2 y están muy bonitas, solo tuve que adaptarlas al ancho de mi barandal y sujetarla con otro plástico para reforzarla, quedaron muy bien!
