Review: Great lift - Works well and easy
Review: Hooks are Nice, but Cord Attachment is Inadequate - Updated 12/2025-I have used the braces for 5 months and they are still going strong, so I changed my rating from 3 to a 5. I have learned that if you hold on to the bungee just below the hook when you tension it, the hook/bungee attachment works well and doesn't fail. I like the hook arrangement better than the Velcro shoelace strap of my previous foot lifter, so I gave it 3 stars. However the attachment of the elastic cord to the hook is insufficient. Both ends of one foot had the elastic outer cover pull out of the plastic hook within 3 days. The interior non-elastic cord is still attached, so the lifters still work, but I wonder how long it will be till it breaks. Also, It is difficult to remove the Velcro ankle straps, as there is no unattached tab to grab onto. So great concept, but could use improvement in design/materials.

**Q: is the material neoprene I am allergic to neoprene?**
A: This brace is made of Nylon and spandex-blended AirFlex neoprene alternative with medical-grade, hook and loop fastener. All components are latex free.

**Q: Does this help with lateral stability?**
A: This AFO brace did not give me lateral stability.  You would have to use an ankle brace for that type of support.  The stirrup type of ankle brace can get "bulky" feeling with certain types of shoe.  Good luck on your search!

**Q: can you drive a car with this on?**
A: You can, but it is so simple to just unhook, I don't usually drive with it attached.

**Q: Does the ankle attachment come in a flesh color?**
A: I do not believe the ankle attachment comes in a flesh color. If they do come out with one in a flesh color, I would buy it.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good and Inexpensive AFO

First of all this product works great (I wear size 14 men’s shoes). I used a different product that squeezed my whole foot strapping it on. Worked great but this product is much less invasive. Reason for the 4 stars is that it broke just after 30 days. I ended up repairing it myself but I don’t know how long that’s going to last
