IT WORKED FOR ME! (But probably don't need to spread it too thick, or use a huge amount.)
One thing to know: The diameter of the glue tube is pretty small, and my regular caulk gun was too large to use with it. However, (Improvise, adapt, and overcome!) I ended up taking off the base plate of the tube and scooping it out with a plastic knife to spread on the surface I needed covered. So far only one bird landed on it,(left behind a few feathers) and I've not seen any activity since! No casualties! While I don't mind birds in general, I live in an apartment, and the poop from other nesters in previous years was seriously nasty. Glad to think that I will be scrubbing and washing the porch off for good this time! Efficient and affordable!

Bird deterrent
Bird deterrent. Harder to squeeze out than regular caulk. Harsh safety warnings for humans, so I don't know what it will do to bird's eyes/skin/claws? Just think happy thoughts!

Really works great.
I had major issues with barn swallows making nests on my porches. Added to all corners and ledges and they fly in but wont land. The birds hate it. I have bought this product several times.

bird deterent
Husband mounted half of a paint stirrer on top of outside garage lights and applied this gel to keep birds, etc from landing on top of lights to eat bugs. It works to keep them away. No more poop on my lights.

Not good
Tube was so old that I had to cut it with a knife, and the contents was extremely thick could not get it out without a knife. Terrible product.

Not as advertized
The product arrive totally dried out. It appeared to require a caulking but the size is too small to use one.

KILLS BIRDS
This product was used by maintenance personnel at my apartment complex. He put it inside of a nest in progress. When the Barn Swallow returned to the nest, she became covered in the product and could no longer fly. I tried, without success, to clean her. The substance was just too sticky. She ultimately died. I later found out that this isn't the first bird to have been killed by this awful product. Even if that isn't its intended purpose, it should be pulled from the shelves regardless, as it has too much potential to harm the birds.
