Is this shampoo color safe?

I use organic color for my hair - and yes - it doesn't seem affected by the regular use of this shampoo.

Does this smell the same as the original finesse they used to sell in the 80s/ 90s?

I don't know what the original smelled like. This one is sort of a fresh scent, not sweet and not overpowering. I am not fond of the scent, but it is mild and does not linger. Main thing for me is it is the same product and performs as the original did. Hope this helps
