The audio-out stopped working on my 2014 HP desktop and I found this little device that allows one to hook up sound (and mic) via USB port. Who knew.

My audio on my computer went out due to an update. The speakers worked but I couldn't get it to play an sounds unless headphones were plugged in. This worked excellent. Plus I could hear and speak if I needed to with one attachment.

If you have issue with the sound ports on the MoBo, this could be a solution. The sound quality decrease a bit with it, and there are some background noise. But nothing more to expect for the price. It does the work!

My laptop doesn't have a Mic input port. I needed an input to digitize some old reel-to-reel tapes. This adapter was truly Plug 'n Play. Just plug it in to USB, the PC sets it up and you're ready to go. I used Audacity to record. The sound quality was fine. Effortless and great for the price.

I didn't know it'd be so much of a hassel to connect my mic using an aux cord to my macbook - no matter the different pronged aux cords, I couldn't get my mac to detect my mic as an input device. After looking online, I seen videos about getting an aux splitter etc etc. I tried to get a aux port connected splitter with dedicated mic and headphone ports... but nothing (and I tried 3 different one's I found online).I really wanted to find a splitter that could just go in the aux headphone port of my mac since I only have USB C connections - but I just decided to ordered this adapter to try out on my mac (I also had to buy a adapter to connect this usb to my mac, lol). BBUT it worked!!This is the only device I found to work for connecting my external mic to my macbook air. If you have a similar issue, this could be a good adapter to try.

I bought this because I had a project that involved connecting an external microphone to an old RPi 3. The RPi has a 3.5mm jack but it does not function sufficiently for my needs. I bought this product because it specifically supported external microphone and it has worked perfectly for my needs. The system recognized it immediately and there was no problems.

When I got these, they were not working. I didn’t get my refund because I forgot to send it back and I lost the part but one plugged in would not work unless I moved the cable around so disappointed.

after my cat knocked over a coffee on my PC, the sound port stopped working; now it works great plugged into and USB port, thanks to this little device

Simplemente hace lo que debe hacer. No tiene nada especial , no se ve de una calidad muy elevada y lo he tenido por poco tiempo como para decir si dura lo suficiente. Lo he tenido por menos de un mes y ha funcionado bien.

Funciona perfectamente. Solamente conectar al puerto USB del portátil y a los auriculares. El sonido es muy bueno. Buen precio y envío muy rápido.
