I have used it to travel with. **Q: Will the SF-727 fit in this case?** A: I found this answer from another customer in regard to your question, "I called the customer service who told me the only difference between the two models is one is dual voltage for international travel. They told me the irons are the same size. I have the sf-727, like you do. I bought this case, and it is a snug fit and the cord must be wrapped around the iron. I still do like it.
