WiFi Range Extender, Prescitech AC1200 Dual Band Mini WiFi Repeater, Wi-Fi Signal Booster, Wireless Access Point with 4 External Antennas, Extending WiFi to Whole Home and Garden (Upgrade)

This was my third attempt at a wifi extender/access point. The first one bricked, the 2nd one would not work no matter what method was tried, and they listed 3. I've set up wifi networks many, many times, for myself and others. I know the ins and outs, the products just haven't work. The first two were among the top brands, but the reviews showed I wasn't the only one who couldn't get them to work. This one I was able to connect via WPS within 2 mins of taking it out of the box and had devices switched over to it within 5 (had to determine a good spot for it). So far, so good. The internet is strong in the dead spot, which usually cycles between fair (bad, unusable) and good (but doesn't stay 'good'). I'll update my review if anything changes. But thus far, we have a winner.

The first extender I received was faulty. They accepted it back immediately. I needed support for the replacement that was delivered quickly. They bent over backwards to help me. Sam spent over an hour on the phone with me walking me through the set-up. He was extremely respectful, patient, focused, and flexible. I discovered that the default password for the extender is admin123. I also discovered that I was mistakenly entering my router's admin password where the router's key is required. I'm also amazed at the extender's WiFi signal range.

We needed something to extend to an outdoor camera for our property line.Plugged in the garage and it works perfectly for a camera about 80 feet away

THIS HAS SOLVED MY CONNECTION PROBLEMS. I CAN NOW STREAM WIRELESSLY FROM ACROSS A LARGER AREA. THE TOLL-FREE TECH SUPPORT WAS FANTASTIC HELPING ME SET IT UP. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED PRODUCT!

Was really simple to set up by following the manual and my internet is now working so much better and reaching all through my house!

This is the second wifi extender I have purchased. I had some trouble getting it to connect to my router but when I got if figured out I had a strong signal in my shop outside. However, it would not connect to internet!!! What good is a strong signal if you have not internet. I tried re-setting several times to no avail. I finally called tech support and they were no help. They wanted me to try re-setting yet again. I don't know how many times I have to do that. I tried one last time and nothing worked. I tried moving it closer and still didn't work.....now because trying so many times and ways, I waiting too long and I can't return it. I'm stuck with it.

Our Wi-Fi would go out any time more then two people were on it, we needed something since the kids are remote learning. Very easy set up, and since setting it up we have not lost connection during school.
