GWTW is my mother's favorite movie of all time, and she loves this mug for her morning coffee. I did notice the coating (the design/color change layer) is chipping a bit. I didn't deduct a star because I suspect it's something my mom is doing because I have a color change mug (different design/manufacturer) and it's holding up great. I know my mom doesn't use the dishwasher but I suspect she might be letting this soak submerged in the sink at times, and she has a dish brush so it's possible she's used it on the outside of the mug too. I never soak mine or put it in the dishwasher or use anything abrasive, so odds are if you buy one of these and treat it with care it will last.

I bought this mug as a gift for my sister since we both love Gone With the Wind, and it is amazing.!!! I pored hot water inside the mug to see if the picture actually appeared and it did. I will order another one for myself :).

This heat-activated mug works exactly as described. The picture does come through a little bit when it is not filled, but it works just fine when you fill it with hot water. Very nice quality picture.

Very pretty cup

This was a Xmas gift, so I never opened it. Turns out, the handle was broken off when my mom opened it Xmas Day. This is so disappointing because now my return window is closed...;(

Cool,works when you put a hot drink in it. Graphics are good . disappear from top to bottom as you sip your coffee.
