Another Hit!!!
Another hit by Isabella Maldonado. Two thumbs up once again. I don't know what it is with her stories, but I loved them. Her story telling is one of the best I ever encountered. She gets so creative with every serial killer in all stories. The killer in the Falcon was another masterpiece in my opinion. He was a very intriguing and unique character. I really enjoyed the character very much. The Nina Guerrera stories are hands down my favorite series from Isabella. Now to jump to her second book in her Daniela Vega series. I know is going to be another banger!

Great addition to a great series
The Falcon continues the story of FBI agent Nina Guerrera, along with her fellow agents in a special task force composed of multiple different FBI disciplines such as Cyber and Violent Crime. Although it's a series, I do consider these stand alone novels. It'll definitely make more sense if you've read the previous books, but if you haven't, you could still start here and not be completely lost in the events of the story.I don't want to spoil anything so I won't go into any plot details here, but this is another fast paced procedural with Guerrara and company attempting to profile and identify a serial abductor of young women from a Phoenix university. I've always seen the strengths of this series as the authenticity of the investigations combined with the evolution of Guerrera's character, and both points are on target here. It's especially interesting seeing how Guerrera continues to build trust and relationships with not only her FBI family, but her long lost relatives as well.. It was great to also get some backstory on Bianca and how she and Nina became so close - it helped me to understand their choices in this book much better. This series continues to impress. A great story, interesting characters, and a satisfying conclusion make this a winner. Looking forward to more!

love this book
Well written book. Lots of details that makes the story come together. Lots of details that keep the mystery of who done it until the very end. The heroine, Nina’s back story of her life is expertly woven throughout these story. Have read the first three and can’t wait to find out the next chapter in this FBI crime series.

Excellent read
I loved this book. It had a great storyline, well-written and I’ve gotten attached to the characters. Nina continues to grow as a person and season her FBI skills. Having said all this, I did predict some of the storyline and thee type of storyline was a bit of a pet peeve for me and why I no longer read Robert Dugoni’s Tracy Crosswhite series. Other than that I was a happy camper.

Out of Nowhere
The book starts off well and the mystery develops in an exciting way. Then we find out who the killer is, and the answer comes out of left field. There were no hints or clues about his identity, so the reveal doesn’t really hit with any impact.

best of the series so far
Nina and the team are still in Phoenix helping the local college look in to the disappearance of some female students. Nina is using some of her time getting to know her family and Bee comes out to visit the college. Someone is taking young women and they are struggling to work out who and how. When bodies of the first lot of women are found this puts the team in a race to find the latest missing woman. There are lots of red herrings thrown their way and Bee is taken by the unsub which brings out the fierce side of Nina. I loved the team dynamic and her relationship with her new family and Bee. I wonder if there will be more books in the series and how the revelation at the end of the book will effect on the team.

Getting worse
The series started off brilliantly with 5 stars, dropped to three and now only a two rating. Far, far too much time is spent on trivial matters such as, Nina's new found family providing Mexican dinners for the FBI team, how the Egyptian pyramids were built etc which, in my opinion, really added nothing to the story. Others may enjoy.
