My husband and I both are fans of the never ending story. We both had this fixture in our child hood and we have a 22 year age difference between us. I was slightly disappointed in some things. One it wasn't the size of the book in the films. For 50 dollars that's actually what I expected. I almost thought we bought another ai generated book because there are no page numbers and the writing is green for fantasia and then red for when Sebastian is in the real world. My husband got super excited because he said that is not only how the book in the film looked but also the book that the movie is based off of. I had no idea they actually had replicas back in the day of the book. He too was slightly disappointed in the size. But we are still nostalgic and both love it very much. My husbad and I love to read children's books for the month of Christmas. So every day we each read a chapter of a book before bed. This one will be a fun addition to our little tradition. Although since I make books and such this book with as small as it is, is maybe worth 35 dollars at most. It does have really good faox leather and a good sturdy cover. And it lays flat. So over all its still pretty good. The auryn is weird though it's kind of squished like you would expect to see in pictures that are too big for the photo to fit in. Other than that it's worth every penny.

This was a Christmas gift to one of my grown children, and when he opened it the other four as well as their friend all piled around after a collective "Neverending Story!" They all agreed it was a great gift. For the price, I wish it was better quality materials. But for the reaction and level of appreciation, work every dollar. Very cute, very nostalgic

This is a beautiful little book! It contains the full script of the movie. I didn't notice the size when ordering. I expected a book the size seen in the movie for $50! When I received the book and realized it was 8" x 5", I returned it, planning to repurchase at some point in the future.

Beautiful book, great texture, good font choice. It was a little smaller than expected, but that’s ok. There are some quality construction things that seem a bit lazy (no inside cover sheets, so you can see the impressions of the hardware that are holding the cover pieces in place; and many pages seem to be inconsistently glued, keeping the book from completely opening on same pages - almost glued to the printing). I still like it, though.

Nothing like the feel of leather and the feeling of the book like the one in the movie to want to read it all in a day. Smaller then in the movie but really beautiful. My daughter not only loves the story but she loves the book so much she made sure it's on display in her room. Worth the money

I like the quality of the item. What is not well explained is that the item is a much smaller scale than the book in the movie. Closer to a diary than an ancient tome.
