One of the most useful things I never knew existed. Highly recommend to make a makeshift paint room or for dust control.

The product is nice. Unfortunately, I ordered 2 sets. They were supposed to be here Tuesday. One set showed. The other was never even mailed. I waited until Saturday after them saying it was due today 4 days in a row. The product would have worked well but since I only ever received half the order, I was unable to use the product and my job was late.

So good I’m buying another set. This thing is a time saver. With these systems you don’t have to use tape but it’s adviseable to avoid small particles such as drywall, demolition, etc. The system not only helps support the weight of heavy plastic, you have the option to quickly and easily add tape to the top and side seams to the dust barrier should you need the extra protection.*Update. I bought a 20 ft set, it’s about the same size as the 16. Never know when you’ll need it. This is hands down the best of all brands. Unlike other brands, the top and bottom parts have articulating ends to accommodate for areas where it is not straight, it also allows you to tuck the plastic from the bottom. They really though of everything with this product. If you are still on the fence make sure to buy this to try it out, you will find that this is the better choice.

I purchased 2 sets of two. I think they are great! Very sturdy, the foot pedal on the floor is so much more handy then the ones that have the squeeze handle at the top. With this unit, I'll never have to get on a ladder to extend to the 12' maximum like I would with the squeeze handle ones sold at harbor freight and FastCap. Extending the poles is easier like the Purdy/Wooster paint poles. The FastCap 3rd hand has a small "very hard to press" button that can get lost if you twist the pole just a 1/4" when extending. I don't know how else to describe how much better these were than the FastCap set. The top pad can adjust 180 degree's while the bottom foot can rotate 360 degrees. I believe the FastCap top pad rotated 360 and the bottom pad was stationary...don't quote me on this last one. FastCap doesn't have a clip for hold the plastic either.

Heavy duty work perfect swivel ends. The company didn't send both sets that's why I gave it a bad review. I had to pay a higher price for another set.

I ordered 3 of these (total of six) and one box did not come with the quick clip rubber pads. Two boxes did (see picture).We needed to prepare our home for construction work to avoid moving all our furniture out. They are somewhat tricky to use to “lock” sections of the pole to retain tension. Once we were able to get them to the right height and lock them, they did the trick and kept the plastic in place.If the third box had included the rubber pads, I would have rated this four stars.

Great for separation of rooms to keep dust down when using my saw. Need a door make a slit to the floor for your opening, use 2020 tape front and back horizontal just above the split about 3' centered, put 3'wxh x2 front and back, you now have a dust barrier door.

After researching a tonne of information on dust barrier systems, etc. I chose to buy 4 (two 2 packs) of these poles. They are awesome. The best feature to date is that they can be used on unlevel floors and roofs. Anyway, don't let the price drive you to a lesser brand. These are worth every penny for ease-of-use and utility.
