A Cuppa Tea and an Aspirin

I found this book really enlightening. Liverpool around the docks was certainly not a place to be living. Very hard to imagine the poverty still around during what is in fact my life time. This was my choice of book for my book club having read it a couple of years ago.

Great read

Bought this for a friend, as I have read it previously, and have never gone through so many emotions in one story, and I am a prolific reader. The condition was really good and delivery quick.

Lovely historical book, it is hard to imagine how folk managed to survive in those times but they did and I think the friendships were better, people helped one another more than now as nobody had anything
