Good protection
Great fit and function. Protects radio from all sides.

Solidly built. Easy to install. What a relief.
This is a very solid unit and does its job well. Very satisfying quality feel to the product. It was easy to install. It provides significant protection to the IC-705. (Which is well worth buying by the way).

Great protection and ergonomics for the IC705
As usual I'll start out with the low points (only 1). Windcamp needs to add two loops on the sides so the radio can hang down from the operators neck... for pedestrian mobile and DF/RFI purposes... I use this radio for portable, occasional Ped-mobile and finding RFI sources with a loop... I made a kluged up arrangement with nylon rope and and a shoulder strap.... That being said, the unit is well made... and has nice tilt feel for portable operating. I recommend this for protection of your rig... it's definitely worth the money. 73, Joe W7UV

Perfect fit
Precision fit provides protection for all sides of the transceiver made of ant aluminum very well constructed. Highly recommend this to keep a very expensive piece of equipment safe.

Quality and fit
Nice build great addition for the IC705.

Fits perfect, looks good
Fits perfect, and protects the whole radio. I've heard the GPS doesn't work well with it on, but I've had no problems, even indoors. Works well with the RC-2 antenna mount. Two things could be improved: 1. It makes it more difficult to mount on a tripod. 2. The RC-1 antenna mount doesn't work with this cage unless you remove the corner brace. Would be nice if they made a replacement brace to fit around the RC-1.

Good Protection
It is a very solid cage and provides a lot of protection on all sides. It is a little bulky, but that’s kind of to be expected.

Excellent accessory for your 705
If you like the Piovi cage, you'll LOVE the Windcamp. It picks up where the Piovi leaves off covering ALL of your 705 including the rear. I also prefer the low profile handle in the bottom which stays secure when the radio is sitting on a surface. Very high quality cage and will keep your 705 safe from danger while doing SOTA/POTA or BOTA (backyards on the air).

Very nicely made, extremely good fit, provides useful all-round protection but especially to the front (screen and knobs) area that looks the most likely to get bashed when out on [P|S|I]ota activities. Obviously it increases the overall size/volume but the protection, fit, and generally inspired confidence is appreciated - recommended.

Der Rahmen sieht wertig aus und hat eine super Passform. das ganze ist gut verarbeitet (keine Grate o.ä.) Das Funkgerät wird über die Gewinde am Boden angeschraubt, dazwischen ist eine Gummipolsterung. Durch die perfekte Passform sitzt das Gerät dann quasi "freischwebend" im Rahmen, d.h. die Abstände oben und unten sowie rechts und links sind (von vorne drauf geschaut) gleich groß. Man kommt noch an alle Anschlüsse dran, Ich habe das Funkgerät mit der (zusätzlich erworbenen) Antennenhalterung RC-2 in den Rahmen gebaut - perfekte Kombi. Dadurch, dass die Griffe schrägt gefräst sind, hat man auch keine unangenehmen Kanten beim Greifen.

ガッチリしたフォルムに精悍な趣を演出します。機能的にもまた材質的にも申し分なく 中華製である実感は感じません。とても精度良く作られています。オプションのアンテナコネクター固定金具をつけると スピーカーマイクが付けづらくなりますがこれは取り回しで回避できますが、専用のスピーカーマイク用延長コードがあるともっとスッキリしますね。ただしこちらの商品は値段が高いのがネックです。でも屋外に安心して持ち出せる屈強な保護が期待できるのがいいです。又、この商品を車やシャックにガッチリ固定できる機能があると更にいいかと思います。とても良くできています。
