Q: Are these shoes hands free? Can they just be stepped into without having to pull up on the heel?

They are for me... but then the shoes are just a tad larger than I need but too tight if I had bought a size smaller

Hope this helps......I order a 9W it fits. If I were to order in say a dress shoe that equates to to a size 9D....I found that in Skechers that after a short wearing the shoes form to ones feet

Yes I think so! The first pair I got I had to send back because the right shoe was wider than the left and my foot kept coming out of it. The second pair was still a little off but much better. And I LOVE them! I haven't had my Nike's on in months! LOL

Q: Is the insole on this Go Walk flat or contoured?

None of the shoes are flat anymore that was many years ago, they are all contoured. I got these shoes for my son they are very comfortable.
