High quality, metal ends, high power
It's a good strong cable, connects to my 5.5x2.1 mm DC adapters snugly, and transmits enough USBC-PD power to use a 27-inch 19.5 volt 60 watt HP screen.

It works!
Current external battery market is overrun with great, long lasting and fairly light laptop powerbanks. The only problem? Most of the ones that have the right balance between quality and price are all USB-C and I have an older laptop with only a barrel feed.After a long research, I risked getting an external USB-C PD battery and this converter cable, plugged it in, and it worked! Overjoyed. The battery correctly interprets the volt levels and everything. I intentionally got the cable with the universal 5.5mm barrel plug, so I can use it with the adapters I currently own.I own ASUS Zenbook Pro UX550VE and all the research I found said it can't be powered through its USB-C ports. Ha! Solution found.Well made, long enough to give me flexibility on where the power bank goes, but not too long to easily travel with. The braided cable looks like it'll last a long time.

Use this with Celestron Telescope
Got this to use with my telescope so I don't have to bring a bunch of AA batteries, works well and is well made.

Incorrect Barrel Size
This is not a 5.5 mm barrel. It will not fit. Junk.

Great to convert a 5.5mm adapter output cable to USB-C for external power packs
This does just what it claims to do -- change the output connector from a battery pack which has a 5.5, tip-positive, round connector cable so that it will charge devices with USB-C charging connectors such as new iPads, etc.I had hoped it would work with my new HP Envy 17" laptop but sadly for some reason it didn't work. It's not a true USB-C DP setup, which is why my new laptop requires.However it charges my iPad and my Kindle Fire tablet beautifully so I'm happy.

Worked for my needs
Unfortunately I misread the inner diameter of 2.1mm and needed a 2.5mm. Instead of returning, I high jacked a barrel connector with right inner diameter for my needs and replaced the one on this cable. No fault of the maker or cable, my fault for not reading carefully. The cable itself is well made and delivers 19.7V and powers my TB4 dock, which powers my surface pro 8 perfectly.

Incorrect barrel plug size
The inner diameter is much smaller than a normal 5521 connector, and physically does not fit.
