Okay, I'm trying out the wired headsets for our office, and they're amazing. At this price point, Microsoft will have a hit with offices. Microsoft fit themselves between Plantronics' low-end blackwire 3000 series which is around $40 and their next models (the 5000 series) which is around $80. It destroys the 3000 series on all levels from build quality to audio quality to comfort. I will argue it's more comfortable than the more expensive 5000 series and audio quality is debatable and when it's debatable, you go with the cheaper one. I got really good comments from fellow office workers who tried out their new headsets too. First comments were how soft and comfortable the headsets were. A couple of them were regular users of the Plantronics Focus UC wireless headsets. I always thought the Focus headsets were comfortable but my office workers said these Microsoft ones beat it. They said the audio quality was better on both sides (caller, receiver) with the Microsoft though it's a bit unfair to compare because the Microsoft ones are wired and the others are meant to travel around the office up to 100 ft. We use softphones for the majority of our staff (IP desk phones are maybe 30% while softphones are 70%). I can imagine replacing the Plantronics headsets with these Microsoft ones if they hold up to the abuse (office workers are far more abusive to equipment than consumers because consumers usually pay for their own equipment). Another advantage for Plantronics is because of its ubiquity, you can easily find replacement parts like ear padding covers. Unless these Microsoft ones become a smash hit, you have to hop the padding lasts an extremely long time. We haven't tried the Teams integration yet as our primary phone system is RingCentral. We use Teams for video calls and messaging mainly with the occasional audio calls. These are definitely worthy of a purchase. I can't believe the value you get. For this price range, you don't expect the material to feel so supple and full of quality. I haven't tried the wireless yet. I can't imagine replacing the Focus UC yet because 1) RingCentral softphones only allow Plantronics headsets to answer calls from the headset (all other headsets require that you answer on the computer on or on the wired controller) and 2) the Focus UC has a 100 ft range.

These are great for when I work from home. They got an awesome "mute" button that I abuse everyday and the wire is long enough for me to shift between standing up/sitting down. I have a bird and so far people claim they can't hear him, so I'm guessing the microphone is quite good. Only downside is that these headphones work so well that I have to come up with other excuses to justify my lack of participation on yet another useless meeting.

These headphones work well for Teams use. The buttons on the controller are straight forward and easy to use. The mic is unobtrusive. The only downside I've encountered is that after about an hour of use, my left ear starts to hurt. The reason for this is because the left side ear piece doesn't move as freely as the right side. It doesn't "give" as much in terms of rotation in comparison to the right side, although neither side is really meant to rotate. I think this might be due to the fact that the left side is what houses the mic. I still like them, and especially like that it's USB rather than aux, but if you're looking for something that will be comfortable for all-day wear, these might not be for you. For reference, I'm a female with an average sized head. These will probably be even more uncomfortable if you have a larger sized head.

I bought this a month ago to use for video meetings, light media consumption and so on.. It is really comfortable to wear. It is a bit small but when you put it on it gives a noise isolating feel even though it is on ear. The cushions are plush and nice. The mic rotation is really smooth, feels premium. Sound quality is awesome, mic quality is really good too. The mic will take your voice and present it as it is. It does not put any weird static hum or anything to your voice. Bass and treble of your voice won't get changed from the mic.

This head set has all of the features that I need to support meetings and gaming. Does it have a killer bass.... No. But what it does have are features to support net meetings with a great microphone that allows me to be heard easily. This applies to gaming. The head piece is also comfortable to wear for long periods. And above all it is reasonably priced!!

I have purchased specifically for calls using Microsoft Teams as I have had issues with compatibility in the past. It works great and is simply a plug and play item. It also cost about half of my previous headset and works just as well but was destroyed when the cat chewed the wires. I am planning to order a second one as a backup to avoid issues should I have another cat-tastrophy.

This is a lightweight headset, and is tuned heavily for teams and phone audio. Pros: Inexpensive Stereo Teams Controls (when they work) Very clear with phone calls Cons: Earcups are 100% fixed in place... no swivel or tilt Multimedia audio is mediocre at best We are testing Microsoft Teams Phones, and my bluetooth headset wasn't cutting it. I've used plantronics headsets for phones for years, and I understand that a quality, durable headset can feel cheap and flimsy at first. This Microsoft Modern USB Headset feels like that. I think it's a quality product meant to be as light as possible for maximum comfort. Where comfort falls apart is the fact that the headband is the only truly adjustable part of this headset. Sure the boom mic pivots, but it does not go in or out. The cups on the ears also do not pivot at all, so on my apparently oddly shaped head, I get more pressure at the back of the cups than the front, and the headset feels like it's trying to squeeze off the front of my head. This is enough of an issue, that I'm returning the headset. The included cord is a decent length, and seems like a nice cable... it straightened out nicely overnight, and is of medium softness/flexibility. The earcups are hard and hollow, so on a beard they do "amplify" movement/scratch sounds. The controller seems mixed at best. On windows 10, the teams specific buttons did not seem to work well at all, even with the Microsoft accessory app installed. On Windows 11, the teams and call buttons worked great... The speakers are tuned for the human voice, and sound great with dialog, but fall flat with music and multimedia. Even equalization apps don't seem to alter the sound of the headset, I'm assuming due to the USB nature of the headset and how the sound interface is defined in the system. So the sound is largely non-adjustable. If your head is normal, and you care first and foremost about call quality, this is a great headset. If you're looking for an "all-rounder" for people with all shapes and sizes, I'd go for a more adjustable headset. I'm going to try out the Poly Blackwire 5220 next which should check all the boxes save for a Teams-optimized controller.

I use these for meetings on Teams. The sound quality is good. The price is reasonable. They are light weight and comfortable to wear. Keep in mind that they are on ear, not over ear, so if you are in a noisy environment they may not block all sound from coming in.

Esse headset, fone de ouvidos com microfone, é excelente. A qualidade do som é ótimo. Os fones têm uma almofada confortável.

Lovely comfortable headset unfortunately I cant get the on my remote work for skype. They work well on my personal laptop.
