Digging the Wells of Revival: The Call to Prayer and Preparation for the Next Great Awakening Paperback – August 16, 2021

As I read this book I knew that God was touching my life. I felt the push of God’s spirit to move forward with God.I highly recommend this book!

In all fairness, I have only finished the introductions and first chapter, but I KNOW this call is to me...and to all who love the Lord. This chapter mentions Bill Bright and Campus Crusade. I used to receive his mailing list and one asked for prayer that the Lord would raise up a million to pray and fast with him. When I prayed this, the Lord told me it was me. I said, Oh, Lord, I am praying in agreement with Bill Bright that a million be raised up. And He answered, "If not you, then who? It is your reasonable service to Me." Although I initially considered this most unreasonable of the Lord, He led me through the 40 days and through some other longer fasts although that had never been part of my worship. This is making me realize that one of the wells I am digging is MYSELF from years ago when I was so on fire for the Lord it makes the older me a little jealous. Allow the Lord to awaken you and pivot your walk through Lou Engle's faithful watchman call.

I urge every millennial generation XGeneration z to prayerfully read this book .Lou is known by his prayer life, he instructs and informs with his own personal experiences how to re dig the wells of revival.Arise Nazerites and go forth in Jesus Christ

Wow, I bless God for for this content. Its something I have been longing for. My life has been refreshed and my heart ignite afresh to seek the God of my Fathers. I desire him to open up for me the portals of Revelation. I desire to overflow with his love, I desire to influence a generation.

Lou Engle stirs the hearts of readers to cry out for the Wells of Revival to spring up once again. He wants to see the evil in our land bow to the Presence of God. The reason behind my Four Star is Lou's focus on an age group as being the being the foundation of a movement. I do not believe that God favors one age group over another. It was two elderly sisters who were credited with praying in the Revival. It was an adult the was the voice of the revival. Yes, we need a Revival, an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. We just need to include all people.

In this wonderful book Lou bares his heart for an outpouring of the Lord and how we should dig or redig the wells of His presence . Whilst it is written with the US in mind it is nevertheless very relevant for other nations (like my own of Australia)I have read the first edition of this book at least twice and now this refreshed version which has been released in a timely and prophetic season of the world … Lou Engle is a treasure and with this book he inspires a generation to dig and keep on digging it the persuit of the promises of heaven ..Thank you Lou for releasing this important and timely book … it is indeed already a classic …
