Get you back on the road.
Worked like a champ. Got my 2002 Silverado 1500 shifting again. Had to drill a 3/8 hole in the cable loop end. Pop the plastic sleeve on, slide the cable on, clip it and it's done. Seems to be holding well it's been a few months. Easy quick fix. Seems like there should be a better solution though. Good luck.

Did the job
Worked on my 09 Silverado. Just got to drill the cable out with a 3/8 bit. We'll see how long it holds up.

Works for 07 Escalade
Worked for me, if your shifter bushin popped, get this. Doesn’t officially fit 3rd gen Escalade or Tahoe or Yukon but worked on my Escalade better than the one meant for it. It’s loose but it does the job. (Again not made for this car)

Worked perfectly
Purchased this for a 2007 Silverado classic (cateye) after the green oem bushing broke. Use a 3/8 drill bit to drill out the old green one and it should fit in its place no issue. Took me less than 5 mins. Just snap it back on the transmission and put the retainer clip on.

The clip didn't fit
I was able to push in the bushing although it wasn't long enough to insert the clip that came with it. Once I inserted the trans lever, which was also new it expanded the bushing and It seems to be holding fine without the clip. I double checked and this was the correct bushing for my 05 GMC Sierra. I went on line afterwards and it seems many people have had trouble with these after market bushings. I think it will be fine, time will tell.

Arrived as described. Fit my 2007 Chev Silverado 2500HD Classic 4x4 (old body style), 6.0L 4spd O/D. Bushing is a secure snap in fit. E-clip was not used, as groove for it in the bushing was slightly shallow in the cable housing. By appearances, the original assembly, as far as I can tell did not use a e-clip either. The cable housing around the bushing could be sanded or trimmed to allow for the E-clip. If an issue arises and the clip is needed I will update. 5 stars for the parts and under 24 hours delivery. 4 stars because price is a little steep. $31.00 CAD Still, an easy 10 minute DIY repair. Happy with my purchase.
