Befano 4 in 1 Automatic Milk Frother and Steamer for Hot and Cold Foam, Hot Chocolate, Latte and Cappuccino - Portable 10.1oz Warmer

We got one of these months ago and it works perfectly! I don’t drink milk myself, but hubby does and the loves how easy it is to make a fancy drink in the morning without having to leave the house.A few days ago the frother stopped working and we were devastated. We contacted the seller and they sent us a new one free of charge - yay! So now hubby can go back to his favorite morning coffee and if he’s happy, I’m happy!Would definitely buy again.

Love this little frother! I went from a handheld to this, and this is the perfect upgrade. I usually do the first setting (heated with maximum frothiness) and it's perfect to put in my Nespresso coffees/lattes! I do agree with some of the other reviews that it doesn't heat it up to be the hottest temperature ever, however, I find that when mixing my non-dairy frothed concoctions with my coffee, it is the perfect temperature to be able to drink right then and there. And even when I put it in my travel mugs, it does indeed stay hot enough that I'm usually not able to drink it until I've made my commute to school/work. And when on the cold setting, I find that it creates the BEST froth for my iced lattes/coffees; even better than when on the hot setting. If you like your coffee piping hot, then maybe heat the milk up before it goes in the frother? Overall though, it's a really great option. Also, SO easy to clean and comes with a sponge on a metal-stick type thing to get in all the way to the bottom!

We have used this at least once a day, every day since fall. My husband asked when this one breaks, which better version I want. I told him that I want the exact same one.This is a little powerhouse! Makes awesome frothed milk for hot chocolate. And as someone here taught me, add your flavors to the milk you’re frothing before you add it to your mocha or latte. Next level!!!!Also, for those of you who realize you’ve left your morning coffee somewhere to get cold, this little guy will reheat your coffee to the perfect drinkable temperature.Plus, if you say the name “Befano” in a minion voice, you can’t help but smile.

[Edit 1 year review (June 2023)]Still going strong. I've been using this daily and keep it meticulously clean sand it still runs great. The only issue is the same I've had from the start, I don't like the heating element and how it tends to burn milk - but if you use already hot water/coffee for your foam, you don't need to use the warmer. For that, I'll remove one star but it's longevity and use have long since exceeded my expectations for how frequently I've used it.[Edit January 2023]6-month review:The unit is going strong. I'm very diligent about cleaning the unit after every use (which is almost every day), and I'm happy to report it's functioned as it did the first day I opened it.Pros:*Froths appropriately into a rich foam, even with 0% powdered milk.*Decent capacity for single-serving proportion.Some notes:*Place liquid in before powder to prevent clumping*Use brewed hot coffee to saturate powder and run in cold frothing modeCons:*Using the hottest setting on the heater can tend to burn undissolved powder clumps. I suspect this is really for cold, liquid milk.*There is an overheat sensor but it's hot or miss. Sometimes will stop frothing if it detects it's too hot but considering I still find burnt residue occasionally, it doesn't seem to work so I rarely ever use it.[Edit 06-02-2022] - I spoke with Befano Direct after sharing with them my disappointment with the product and they've sent out a new unit after I explained my situation. I hope this version lasts. I will update this review yet again when I have ample time with that new product.I've used this frother religiously at least once and even sometimes twice a day. I figured if I was diligent with cleaning it immediately after use, I'd avoid the fate that so many other people experienced with their frothers. Well, here are my thoughts:* The heating element is mostly miss than hit because it tends to burn the milk.* Frothing worked great but not always consistently.* Cleaning it can be tricky if you burned milk even in the slightest because it tends to form a membrane that's difficult to rub off.After 3 months, the frothing element began to fail at spinning. First, it would be slow to spin, then it wouldn't spin until maybe 2-3 attempts. Now it won't spin at all. I've never used the heating element after it burned the milk the first few times. I found a way around this since I use powdered milk: instead of using the heating element, I would mix the hot coffee with the powdered milk and froth it with no heat. This worked perfectly without burning the milk but also, I was no longer using a major feature the frother provided.Without using the heating element, I figured there would be less of a chance that it would fail but this was an incorrect assumption as it still failed. Now, the frother will feel warm to the touch when using the "cold" frothing method.I can't recommend this because its lack of longevity is contributing a lot of waste to the environment, which seems to be a very common occurrence among other reviewers.

I thought I could get away buying this opposed to a previous brand name frother I was replacing after several years of having it. However, I was wrong. Poor quality. I bought 2. One August 13, 2022. At first it worked very well. Now 8 months later its not heating the milk or frothing. I reached out to Befano's chat customer service they were going to send me to another site that charged $5 to answer for me to ask a question. They said it was refundable but I don't understand why I would have to pay for a question to be asked. Then I tried to say I didn't want to be transferred but the chat person had already left. The second frother I bought as a gift October 7, 2022. Days later my mom said, her frother wasn't working. Very embarrassing. Luckily that broke within amazon's 30 day window so I returned it. However, the one I bought for myself is outside of it so I am stuck with a non working frother. I guess I should have paid for the more expensive brand name frother I originally had that lasted for years. DON'T Buy UNRELIABLE

This is just what I needed. We started making coffee at home in a French press during the quarantine and were using a manual frother , but this little machine is quick, easy to use and gets the job done heating and frothing up our milk. Regular milk gets really frothy vs other kinds (soy, almond, macadamia) but we still like how it heats up and froths up our milk of choice. Update: it’s been a couple of months and it still works but it doesn’t froth soy milk at all, so not great if that’s your milk of choice.
