Swiss Army knifes never disappoint. My other one I've had for years and it looks new. I can expect this one will last the rest of my life. It's an investment. This German Army issue style is very nice. -Long, partially serrated blade, with 2/3 of the blade being serrated -Extremely sharp, like you have to be so careful because this thing is razor sharp. -I really like the Phillips screwdriver. Very practical, as there's countless amount of times when I've needed a screwdriver but didn't have one. -It's minimalist compared to some other Swiss Army knives with tons of features. This is more of an army style with the basics. The focus is definitely on the long blade. -There are no tweezers or toothpicks like other models, no scissors either. -One handed opening is nice bonus. -Long double-sided saw, has teeth on both ends. If you want a true multitool with lots of features, this model isn't for you. However, if you want a simplistic, high quality knife with additional features, such as bottle opener, screwdriver, saw, that is trusted by the German Army, then you simply could not go wrong with this knife. I truly do expect this to last a lifetime. I love this. It isn't exactly cheap, I paid $90 for it. However, this is an investment which will last year after year. These things are made to last. Note that this is a larger knife, it takes up a decent amount of space in your pocket and has some bulk to it. Check the dimensions to make sure it's suitable for your needs before buying.

I was a tad bummed when I got my knife because I hadn't paid attention that the blade was serrated. Usually I'm not a fan of serrated blades but that is due mostly to the fact that they are a pain to sharpen. I got over it pretty quickly and will worry about that when I have to sharpen it. Out of the box I was pretty impressed by the build quality. Seems very solid and the locking mechanism leaves no doubt in my mind that it will not fail! Takes a bit of effort to disengage but I think thats a plus as its reassuring that the knife is solid. The saw tested out fairly as I was able to cut some dried hardwood with some effort. Not a go to tool for sawing by any means but can be expected to cut a 2 inch or so branch without too much trouble.the phillips head, awl, can and bottle openers with their accompanying flatheads seem sturdy enough as well. For camping this knife would be very handy. You're not going to baton wood with it, but it will make a useful tool nonetheless. Maybe a tad big for an EDC, but on the other hand its got more tools on it. It's not clunky so I don't see using it everyday as an improbability. In summation, buy it. It's a good knife, nice for your pocket or a backpack or whatever you need it for.

This is a great knife just like all Victorinox knifes, but it was over priced. I only wanted it as a collectors item.

Excellent product, I recommend it highly! The knife is a bit bigger as I expected but the quality and the design are totally worth it.
