heartwarming
This heartwarming love story kept me on the edge of my seat trying to figure out how the love triangle would resolve. Especially since the two men involved were brothers. The happy ending warmed my heart and I can’t wait to read the rest of the books in the series about the other siblings. Beautiful and heartwarming love story that I highly recommend!

This book reads fast.
This story hooked me in the first scene. Cooper was very thoughtful, kind, and very attracted to Kate. Kate had a lot to work through, but she got there.

New series
I have really enjoyed this new series. The town is great and all the characters are Interesting. I’m already bummed that I have to wait until spring for the next book. Invested in the secondary characters and excited to see what happens. As always clean romance with small town heart and charm.

A trip to the mountains . . .
The first page will grab you in this new book (and series) by Denise Hunter. Riverbend Gap takes place in a mountain setting. The beautiful setting adds to the romance of this story. Katelyn Loveland was on her way to start a new life at a clinic run by a good friend when she is involved in an accident. Cooper Robinson comes to her rescue and they connect right away. All through the story their connection can't be denied. Unfortunately, she is already the girlfriend of Cooper's brother Gavin. The Robinson family welcomes her and it's a feeling of belonging that she has never known. She is also there to try to reconnect with her mother who abandoned her when she was very young. Each of the characters in this story have their own story to tell of heartache - and a hope for a better life. You come to believe in all of them and as the story goes along you're not sure how the author will bring about a happy ending. You will need to read it to find out! I highly recommend this book - and all of Denise Hunter's books!

Finding the one
Katelyn Loveland is looking to start over. Her friend from college, Avery Robinson, has asked her to become her nurse at the clinic. She has also set her up with her brother Gavin. An accident leaves her stranded in a tree off the road. Is this how her life ends? Luckily deputy Cooper Robinson was out riding on his bike. He sets everything in motion to rescue her. There were formal first names given. Cooper felt a connection to her that he has never felt before. Little did he know, the rug was going to be pulled out from under his feet. It seems Katie is his brother Gavin's girlfriend. How was he going to live and run for sheriff in this small community? No matter how they try to hide their feelings, the press finds out. There is a riff in the family and Katie is on the outs. She is moving back to where she came from, never completing the second part of her mission. The Robinson's are a forgiving family. Love the ending!

Endearing characters!
Denise Hunter has increasingly become one of my go-to authors, and “Riverbend Gap” only continues to illustrate why!Endearing characters grow and change throughout the book. Spiritual truths are imparted thoughtfully, and challenge me in my own faith walk. Relational dynamics make me consider the characters’ motives in new ways, and I often have to rethink what I would do in a similar situation! And the fall setting…how can that go wrong? So perfect to read right as the leaves are changing and the autumnal equinox approaches.I received an eARC of the book from the publisher via NetGalley. All opinions are my own.
