Great protective shoe!
Order 1/2 size up for sure. I ordered a 9.5 to fit my 9 Rx insole. Perfect! I did not take out the removable foot bed. I put my insole on top. Just right! These are roomy but can be snugged up well and have extra holes for adjustment purposes. Great support and foot protection, flap over strings a smart addition. Keeps out debris etc. but also helps snug your foot too. Sole is nice and sticky, no slipping even in rain, good stiff bottom support. Love these. Anyone concerned with them looking like "moon shoes"..?..Silliness! That's okay, more for me when I want to buy a second pair! Also mentioned was bulky. Well, yes somewhat but I like the added ankle protection. If you want a cute, petite shoe good luck finding an off-road, platform pedal shoe at this terrific price...if you can find them at all.

Overall a good shoe, though they have some weight to them
It fits as expected, but I did expect it to run small as other reviews had stated, so I ordered a 1/2 size larger and the shoe fits! I am normally a wide foot for shoes and there is slight rubbing on my small toes which I expect to eventually go away as the shoe break in and my toes are not cramped in. Overall a good shoe, though they have some weight to them, which at the moment is the only drawback.

Love the shoes
Had to order 1/2 size bigger. I had friend who had a size 9 and tried them on and my toes were at the end of the shoes. and then had another friend who had 9.5 and fit better..they stick very well with flat petals and awesome stiffness..Ps if you lace your shoes to tight it can put your feet to sleep.. to keep them loose.. Ps wish i would have getten these last yr. Awesome downhill shoe

I like the thickness of the sole
These shoes are too tight around my ankle. I normally wear a size 7.5 and thought by ordering an 8, it would provide enough room. They're also heavier than I had expected. I like the thickness of the sole, though and could see how it would provide excellent cushion during a ride.

Perfect for grip!
I got these to use on my road bike. I have road shoes, but they are narrow and causing numbness on the balls of my feet. I used them today and my feet never budged, it was like I was using clip less pedals.......but with no fear at red lights! They are a little snug, I have a normal width foot, but with the metatarsalgia even a regular B width shoe is feeling tight. I think they will stretch fairly easily as there is a lot of padding in the toe box and ankle area. Very pleased with the "sticky" soles, they grip wonderfully!

looks good, durable construction
It does the trick for gripping, looks good, durable construction, tucks in the laces nicely but seriously too much money. I've used them one season and there is no sign of them wearing out.

Grippy :) and bulky :(
Ugh. Not impressed with how they look. Another reviewer said they were like "padded moon boots" and I couldn't agree more. The fit was good, just order your regular size. But seriously these are bulky!! I took them for a ride on an intermediate single trail to test out the grip and yes it was much better than my other shoes in that regard. I had some issues finding a comfortable footing because these are just way too bulky. Totally not happy with how I feel in them. I had to raise my saddle a bit because the soles are about two inches thick. Oh and my 13 year old son laughed at me when he saw them.

An honest and real review!
What a sad excuse for a mountain bike shoe for woman. How disappointing. The variety of shoes made available for men and all we get is this. First of all one review said these shoes were lightweight, not even. These shoes were very heavy, bulky and had an awkward design. Why can't you just make a nice shoe for woman as you do with the many styles you have for men?
