Be careful with these! Small voltage delivers a shock that isn't subtle.

I don't know why Amazon recommended these, but I have an excess of 18650 batteries, and needed to meet a shipping minimum, so I figured why not. It is fairly loud! I am unsure what I will do with these but I will keep y'all updated. Pondering a bug zapper, negative ion generation, person defense (I am going to end up shocking myself)

i have found that you get better results if you use ac voltage other then dc although the instructions say to use dc power. my personal opinion is that you will get better results with ac voltage . especially if you are running two or more in series. when i say in series in talking about the input power!! this my personal opinion ! have a good day you all

All five of the transformers I got worked out of the bag unlike some of the other reviewers. They're also really fun to play with and can be run off of a 9v (might shorten lifespan though). Pretty much the only problem I have with these things is that the title of the product says it outputs 400KV pulse. But the description also says it has a spark gap of 10-20mm which means the output has to be around 10,000v-30,000v depending on how you power it and the individual device. This is also what I've found in short testing of these things. I would totally buy these at the same price if they were advertised as such but it's annoying that you don't actually know what you're buying.

i love these things.. a quick discharge from a button switch and 3-4 double A’s can get your pups attention too!.. (just the sound im not a freak) they get too loud fighting or play fighting. CRACK! they quickly stop and look at me.
