Ultimate Support GS-200+ Guitar Stand with Locking Legs and Cradle

This is actually my 2nd guitar stand of this style. I like that it locks into position & doesn’t collapse by itself. The neck support was super important for me. We travel a lot & this stand folds down nicely & stores in little space. Great overall guitar stand for either a big acoustic or a smaller electric guitar.

I carry a bag of hardware to gigs, mic stand, amp stand, stool and music stand. All of these stands fold down and carry easily except the guitar stand. The standard type of guitar stand has a bent neck rest and an awkward, forked bottom rest that make it very awkward to carry. I often wondered why nobody offered a stand that folds up to a size comparable to the other stands. With this stand I found it. Its sturdy, lightweight and folds down all the way. Love it.

This is a great guitar stand. It is sturdy and breaks down easily to transport. A great buy!

This is by far the best stand if you have a headless bass or guitar. Keep in mind that the small fold down arms are about 10" apart. That could be too wide for some of the narrow body instruments like Steinberger makes. I have a Kiesel Vader VB5 bass that fits perfectly. I did have to bend the yoke a bit wider to accommodate the wider neck, but it is not too difficult to spread them with your hands. What I really love about this stand is how stable it is compared to all the A style stands that sit on the floor. The Ultimate Supports stand is solid enough, sturdy, compact, and is of very good quality. Love it! Update... I have now played several gigs using my new Ultimate Supports GS200 + stand. I have also used it on several basses, although I bought it primarily for my headless Kiesel VB5 bass. I knew right away that the stand was stable, but now that I have used it at work, I am even more pleased with it.

I love these I now have 3. I’m a working bass player. These are compact yet handle heavy fender basses very securely!

The bottom isn’t adjustable, so a guitar with a more unique shape could possibly fall through. This is happening with one of our 4 guitars. It’s perfect for the other three!

The push button locking mechanism totally failed after just three months, rendering the unit useless for holding any guitar. Seller's 30 day return policy of customer non-service was a huge disappointment. I reached out to manufacturer who immediately sent a replacement. The original unit had a minor machining defect not apparent in the replacement. Highly recommend this quality product, just not from this seller.

Sturdy/stable with good padding where needed. Neck retainer strap. Folds up compactly. I have 3 of these which I use with electrics and acoustics. Solid stand.
