Easy to install and far more reliable than the OEM unit it replaced.
I'm an owner of two Ford EVs, a Mach-E and a Lightning. For three years I put up with slow charging, overheats, and errors on the OEM provided portable chargers (multiples of these chargers). So after starting to see overheats and longer than necessary charge times on my latest Ford portable charger I decided to fix the problem once and for all. Originally I had the electrician install a 14-50 "RV" outlet on a 60A breaker with 10GA wire to plug the 32A Ford Portable charger into. So replacing that outlet with a 48A Wallbox was a no-brainer since that unit got several favorable reviews on the forums and I wouldn't have to change any wiring or the breaker. So I got the unit yesterday and after removing the 14-50 outlet box I wired in the 48A Wallbox Plus unit, downloaded the app for my phone, and was charging my truck all in about an hour's time.I like the fact that (unlike the OEM EVSE) I can monitor the charge in realtime using Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, set limits, and it chargers a lot fast than the old OEM units...even when they were at their best (brand new). You do want to make sure all your electrical connections are very tight to ensure that they don't loosen over time (AC current vibrates and can loosen connections).I look forward to years of trouble-free use with this new Wallbox Plus...it seems well designed and manufactured, and pretty durable. The cable is 25 Ft long which enables me to reach both vehicles in the carport. So far a great purchase!

Works perfectly so far
TL/DR: very happy so far. Install was challenging due to circumstances beyond the charger’s scope. Product arrived quickly and undamaged, and upon installation works perfectly. If anything could be improved, it’s the clasp mechanism that holds the J1772 connector in the holster. It doesn’t seem to grab very well and takes a few tries to get it to hold. I wired the unit up myself, but I’m an electrical engineer and comfortable with this kind of project. I definitely recommend hiring an electrician to most users.I purchased the 48A version, since EVs are getting bigger and bigger ranges these days. We just purchased an EV with 300 mile range and I wanted to be able to charge at our vacation rental near Asheville NC. Since the driveway is about 40 ft from the house and there is no garage, I installed the charger on a structure made from treated 4x4 posts and plywood. Ran #6/3 UF-B cable through 1.5” PVC SCH 40 Conduit up to a 60A disconnect box. Realized after $500 of cable was purchased that you don’t need the neutral cable so I could have used #6/2 and marked the white wire with black tape and connected to the other phase. Sigh…that’s what I get for not reading the instructions in the manual before purchasing cable! Connected to a new 60A GFCI breaker (another $250) and it’s working like a champ. Charged my car to 80% the first night and then topped off to 100% before the 235 mile drive to Raleigh today. Got home with 18% left! I haven’t set up the app yet but will do that next month in hopes not to enable the charger unless someone is staying at the rental house. I will also build a shed roof for the charging station to make it more weather proof (all enclosures are NEMA4 rated so it’s fine out in the elements as-is).Update: after a month I installed the app and like the features such as statistics, remote locking, setting the charging current, etc. The only complaint I have is the WiFi receiver is weak. Wallbox customer support said the WiFi receiver works best if the WiFi router is in front of the charger. Well in my installation the router is about 50 ft behind. It works about half the time, but I can usually lock/unlock the charger remotely. I hope to set up the charger as a public charger sometime and if I can figure out that will update my review.

Great product, great support (Excellent for multiple cars)
I have used the Tesla charger and the JuiceBox Charger. I switched to the JuiceBox charger several years ago because I wanted to charge multiple vehicles simultaneously and only one was a tesla. It was fine until they "upgraded" their app. It is now trash. After researching extensively, I decided to try the WallBox. It has exceeded my expectations. Installation was fairly straightforward. The setup for load sharing was easy, however, it was not precisely explained in the manual. Technical support was excellent. Matter of fact, It is the best tech support experience I've had in years!!! I could not be happier. If you are looking for a great charger, (especially one that can charge 2 cars effortlessly), and a product with great tech support...look no further. The WallBox is the one!
