good product at a good price. includes a 1/4 which is hard to find.
looked high and low for a full set of universal ball joints (1/2, 3/8, and 1/4) and then found this set by Ares Tool.i haven't used them as impact sockets yet, but i love these joints as good swivels. the box based joints tend to lock up when trying to use them also especially with long extensions the box joints tend to flop over and make it difficult to use, THESE DO NOT have this issue being ball joints they only turn 30-45 degrees (estimated) from center. the 1/2 and 3/8 work great as i have already started using them as i'm helping rebuild and engine (for the reasons above). and on the 3/8 i have used about 2 feet of extensions to get some serious leverage and it did not even show signs of braking which is nice. (i have twisted a block joint before while it was cheap)the 1/4 i haven't used yet, but it seems to be build well and is small enough to fit in my DEWALT DW2190 Heavy Duty Medium Tough Case Things to improve:1. the packaging, first time i ordered only received 2 of 3, with amazon's help i got a free replacement with free shipping (Thanks Live Chat). the replacement came with everything, but the plastic holding the sockets together was broken even though it was packaged nicely (Joints were fine) but was a little telling on how the first was received missing one.2. the websitetried to register (as if i brake them i would like to be able to get a replacement) website was broken, i am currently a few emails deep with someone from ares about the website and the few issues I have had and they seem to be fixing it as we go so it should be some what decent in the future.3. warranty clarificationasked about the warranty and they said to send them a picture of the problem and they will send a replacement, but would also like to know about the length of the warranty and it actually posted on their website somewhere. hoping it is a lifetime warranty as most places have those.ps. i did look at O'Reilly Auto Parts which did have a 1/4" (the hardest to find) but the other joints they had were goofy and turn in to extensions instead of swivel, then if you put a lot of force it will pop out and turn to a swivel, but i did not like it. also was more expensive then the set here.

Impact ready
Good enough for non commercial work I don't believe a homeowner could wear these out.

Good Quality
The product seems very well constructed and good for the price I am going to use it on my back brakes they have this one bolt that I couldn’t reach so I’m glad I bought this really hope to get the job done.

Strong
Haven't used the 3/8 or 1/4 inch sockets yet, but th we 1/2" sockets held up with the impact wrench, even at an extreme angle.

Good quality, will buy again if I need another set.
A universal impact extension has a hard life. The 1/2 inch gets used the most often on a Milwaukee Fuel high torque impact gun. That gun is a beast and will quickly show you the quality of any sockets or extensions you use with it. The 1/2 inch extension has held up great to that gun. The 3/8 is used on a 3/8 Milwaukee impact and has also held up very well. That gun isn't anywhere near as violent as the 1/2 inch gun but it's no slacker. I wouldn't use the 3/8 and 1/4 inch sizes with reducing adapters if you have a powerful 1/2 inch impact gun. I wouldn't do that with snap on swivels either unless I had to. And I would use a face shield to protect me from the imminent shrapnel.

Very durable !
Broke my 3/8 " U'-Drive. Tools need to last many years! I'm pulling a 4.0 engine out of my SPORT-TRAC. many of the bolts need long extensions, and the weak link seems to be the U-Drive (knuckle) Not any more!!!!!

For Those hard To Reach Spots
If you are using a large impact, you know the struggle to get into places that are just off center. These seem to work for just that. When applying a lot of force, I don't trust being off angle too much but for slight misalignments, these are your best bet in breaking loose stubborn bolts/nuts. I have used the 3/8 and 1/2 successfully and have no complaints. Definitely saved me from having to bust out a breaker bar and made the job go quickly. Recommended!
