So I read the reviews, bought pvc pipe to soak it in literally boiling hot water. This is key. Precut as best as possible. For this project an extra set of hands was necessary. I used a staple gun to attach. and you have to trim the caning when still damp after staples are in. I attached gimp trim with clear tacky glue to cover the staples and caning ends. I Also applied some chippy barn (brand) luxe tones stain/poly to darken the light color a smidgen. I do wish it took the stain better on the finished side. It did absorb on the unfinished side. Overall, I am loving how nice it looks. Now to reupholster the seat.

I have enjoyed the roll of pre-woven cane that I purchased. I used it in a craft project, though and not as a furniture seat or back replacement. It suited my needs perfectly. The product was sturdy, and responded well to water, as expected, to flatten it. It took a while to arrive, but that was information I received right up front, so no surprises. I highly recommend this product.

Quality was good but my inexperience needed additional quantity for mistakes. If you are a novice order more than you need.

Many cracked and stringy woven cane webbing on edges. Have used this webbing before and had much higher quality.

I have never received a worse product in my life. There are loose strands and if this were put in a chair of mine I would not sit on it. The loose strands, some are sharp and stick you. For the money I paid I would think I would get something that had some qauility to it. This product is horrible, and I will make an attemp to return it. The product is a absolute piece of crap !!!!!!!!

I used it to replace the old webbing in our canoe. Chairs look brand new!

This was my second time ordering. First order was great second order was obviously previously used, there was staining to one side of the caning, supposed to be raw, unstained) and the edges were very rough. For how much this cost, I should not be getting someone else’s project leftovers.

It’s expensive for what it is, I ordered it for my 4 small drawers but yeah, so small that it cannot be enough for the four, also the quality is not that good, it can be damaged easily.
