Tech21 Evo Check for Samsung Galaxy S6 - Smokey/Black

I have been using a Tech21 evo case for at least 5 years. I used one on my Galaxy S4 and then my S6. I have dropped both many times over the years and this case has prevented me from ever getting so much as a scratch. It does a surprising job of protecting the screen by having a slight lip that prevents it from touching the ground during any falls. I know I sound like a fanboy, and for this case I am. I had the first case I bought for 3 years and I got a phone upgrade before it gave up or even discolored. The one slight critique I have, which is an unavoidable compromise for the tech they use, is that using it for an extended period of time (years) with a phone causes a slight diamond pattern on the back of it near the edges where it rubs most. That's a slight issue, but keeping a phone safe for years is well worth it.

Great buy on the same case I paid a lot more for at Vz store year & half ago.This case offers surprising protection considering the thin profile. Adds very little bulk to phone but protected it well well during the numerous drops over the past 18 months. My only complaint is that it collects fingerprints and some residue marks from skin such as lotions,etc will eventually be permanent. Hence my replacing the original with this one. I like it well enough to overlook that one fault and purchase again. Purely cosmetic fault and probably not a biggie to those who are not OCD,

This a good case. This is my second Tech 21 case.. the first one I had lasted over 4 years, and my phone is still in great shape. I've dropped my Samsung phone plenty of times, and so far so good. The old case was not fitting as tight as it once did, so I replaced it with a new one.

I fiddle with my case often, lifting the corners off, rubbing at the sides, ect. It took 3 years for the case to rip, at the point where the power button is. The cover for the button fell off, so I ripped that section out and ordered a new one. This case works quite well! I've dropped my phone plenty but it's still in great condition!I've attached a photo showing the new and old case side by side. You can see where the case tore, as well as the significant color change of the case. The yellowing is not nearly as noticeable as with the clear case when the case is on. It looks like the case is supposed to be a smokey amber.

I used a Tech21 case with an earlier Samsung Galaxy I had and was quite happy with it. This one is no different. The fit is quite good, it does not mar up at all really, the case is like new after having used it for a few months. There are no scratches or dings or ANY wear spots on it. The cutouts are all generous and function as designed. For the money, I would gladly buy this case again. It may not be as cosmetically pleasing as my old Spigen it is more than sufficient for my needs.I forgot to add, the grip is quite good too. The feel in the hand is excellent.

Very durable and protective on the edges (especially corners), yet a small profile that does not add too much bulk. It also works great if you have a magnetic holder for your car -- just slip the adhesive magnetic strip in the case and you can't tell it's there, but it works like a charm.

Appeared to be a great case, no issues with Tech21 in the past, had this phone for all of a month and a half, dropped it, cracked the face and is unusable. Was not even a huge drop, waist high. Is that a reflection of the case, the Galaxy S6, or both? Either way I am out of a phone & the case did not do its job.

Pro:No cracks or breaks in phone or screen after more than a dozen falls.Con: picks up colors from your pockets or is discolors with age. Mine used to be clear and is a year old now but I would buy it again.

This case is amazing. I threw my phone on the floor in anger (It was playing up and I was fed up of it). The phone bounced at least 6ft in the air and landed without a scratch. This case saved my phone from my temper and many other non temper related drops.

Another great case from Tech21, best cases for protection and looks smart and the price was definitely too low BUT I was shocked it was genuineI would definitely recommend this case

I've used the Tech21 cover for my Galaxy S5 for many years and it saved me thousands of Euros on replacement phones for the amount of times I've sent it bouncing across the floor. This version for the S6 is just as good in every respect. I can't recommend this enough.

I have dropped my phone numerous times, including down a set of wooden stairs and it has survived the fall intact.As shown in the picture it is not opaque, rather a sheer black with a barely there diagonal crisscross design . It does have the tech21 logo on the bottom but it is hardly noticeable.It's a great purchase and I would definitely recommend combining with a decent screen protector.

Great clear case for the Galaxy S6. However it does add a considerable amount of bulk around the edges. Because the S6 is a small phone, it's still manageable, however with a larger phone it might make it slightly too large. But it feels fantastic for the S6!
