Replace 1724 62mm Throttle Body for 1991-2003 Wrangler Cherokee 4.0L YJ TJ XJ ZJ WJ High Flow Power

It was an easy installation except for the fact that I did have to file what I believe is the TPS sensor a bit for it to fit flushed, no biggie, do not let that discourage you, It started right up and when I drove I did notice a difference, felt better acceleration and felt stronger, It even turned off my eternal check engine light.

I got this for my 01 jeep cherokee xj in addition to a cold air intake. This throttle body comes with all your gaskets, bolts, and some additional parts in my case. You won’t need to dremel around the bolt holes, as some reviews say, to get a socket on the bolts as they are hex key bolts and not hex head. All of my sensors fit perfectly, including the throttle position sensor, which sure is a little tight but it fits in just fine, and the idle air control fits on perfectly and hasn’t caused a problem. All of my threaded holes for the sensors were perfect and long enough to fit the whole screw. I was skeptical of this when I bought it because of the reviews but if you see this and are a bit hesitant I can assure you, this works just as it should from the box.

This throttle body with the spacer, Airaid forced air intake, new cat and performance muffler woke my 95 yj 4.0 up! What a difference! Faster off the line and much smoother idle. At full throttle it Roars!

Kinda just a cheap Chinese throttle body. Better than stock? Probably. Will you notice it if one was in vs the stock one if you didn’t know what one was installed? Nah. Not sure it was worth the ~$65+. Rear driver side bolt is nearly impossible to get in with a hex head bolt so would probably recommend getting a thinner hex socket bolt for it. Can’t turn it with a socket or find angles to use an open ended wrench. So the fit isn’t great. You will have to sand the idle air control valve to flush fit it but that’s easy. Install of any throttle body is very easy just some extra steps needed with the poor design of this one. I honestly feel zero difference though so I can’t say you’re gonna feel any power differences. But works as it should. The gaskets are also extremely cheap paper junk. Why it came with a fuel filter? Idk. But okay. Haha

It was not a straight bolt on, there is no room to place a socket wrench on the bolt head, it sets too close to the body of the throttle body. I couldn't seal the throttle body on the manifold. I had to use an open ended wrench turning the bolt little by little. Wished it work but had to return it.

Had it on for about half a year . Got a lot better pickup on stop and go . Love it she has not ran this go in a min. Got a 96 just a week or to ago im going to do the same to it think im going to add a spacer to .great product good company will be back

Got this for my 01 XJ. Fit and finish is spot on. I used a mic and measured it. Right at 62mm. The first one worked great for 4 days then it started sticking open and wouldn't close. Contacted Amazon and they sent me another one within a few days. Been using this one for a couple months now with zero issues. The kit comes with everything you need for installation and bunch of stuff that you don't need too. Nothing wrong with spare parts. Looks like a factory throttle body so for smog purposes in Cali the tech would have to prove that its not OEM. Factory air intake fits just like it should. I also did 4 hole injectors with this throttle body and the combo works great. Over all I'm glad I did it.

Works great did this a 4 hole injectors. Took me an hour to swap everything. My jeep has 32 inch tires. Maintains highway speeds much better. Cruised at 125 km per hour pulling a trailer
