Please don't buy this palm oil, I repeat don't buy and save yourself the money, when I got mine, I didn't use it, had to go throw it away, the smell and taste was horrible, could have ruined the food I wanted to use it to prepare...

Okay so I’ve never had red palm oil before but I asked around after using it a few times and was told that it shouldn’t taste like my description. So if I can best describe it, the flavor was reminiscent of what something mold/mildew-y smells like. Not a sour smell, more of a dank, wet smell but in your mouth. It has a smoky scent though but it doesn’t taste the way it smells. I thought maybe my tastebuds just didn’t understand since it was new to my palate but I tried cooking with it three times and each time, I could not appreciate that flavor. It did give my food a beautiful reddish color which was ideal if you’re making stews with tomato and red pepper 🌶 added. I don’t think this brand is bad because a lot of vloggers use it on YouTube BUT I think the batch I got was bad.

I have used this oil for eugsi soup and it is incredibly different and better tasing than other oils in the market.
