I purchased one of these years ago from a local store that I have been using as a small toolbox for inside the house. I have a number of tools inside that I most commonly use around the house (small hammer, racheting screwdriver, small pliers, etc.) while I keep the majority of my tools and larger tools in my workshop. For this purpose, I do not require a tray and this box is definitely strong enough for the task.The second box I recently bought is used to contain a variety of tools and materials I use to start fires (ferrocerium rod, piston firestarter, char cloth, and other tinder materials) in my fire pit on the patio. It is perfect for organizing these items so I can grab the box, take it to the patio, and have everything I need readily at hand. The contents of this box is lighter than the first box I use for tools.I would readily buy another of these if I have a similar need. If I need something that stronger, to carry a much greater weight, or that needs to withstand greater abuse, I would look for a different toolbox. But this is a great box for light duty purposes and definitely a good value. I was certainly pleased when I bought the second box and discovered it was of the same quality as the one I had purchased years ago. Good work, Plano.

Nice tool box. Not real big. I should bought larger. Measurements are correct I just guessed wrong on size I should of gotten. Very nice too box and I'll be keeping it for something else to store. Latch is good too.

Good little tool box. Sturdy, medium duty plastic case, top fits well to base, latch is secure and positive. Best feature is the back pivot hinge. It IS a hinge not just thinner plastic as seen in many boxes of this type and price range.Recommended!

This is a light weight plastic box. I use it to hold gun cleaning equipment. there are no dividers in it and there isn't any trays in it. But does work good for storing light small items in it. I bought another one to hold my soldering irons, and solder.It's good for the price and does a decent job.

I was looking for just a simple/lightweight/crappy box to store some hobby tools and whatnot (X-actos, sandpaper, etc) in, and this fit the bill perfectly. I think it's a great value for the price and the quality is perfectly acceptable. Some super-cheap plastic tool/storage boxes come with warped sides, latches that don't quite work smoothly, etc, but not this one.If you just need a really light duty storage box like I did, get this one...you won't be disappointed.

Perfect size for standard house-hold tools. A lot easier than hauling out the big metal job in the garage. Seems sturdy, nice buy

the latch works good, box is nice, little big for my taste but i can now fix my MX tire changing tools in it.

A nice box, certainly for the price, but it does not meet my needs. The adverised dimensions are just about right for the exterior (advertised 14.9 x 7.8 x 5.2, vice actual 15.4 x 7.7 x 5.2). However, the interior were inadequate (13.8 x 6.5 x 4.8).

Needed something cheap in price and not too cheap in quality to set up some tools that did not need a bulletproof toolbox. This fits the bill, not wobbly not easy to deform, and protects my not-so-cheap tools. A good buy.

La scatola l'ho acquistata per mettere le chiavi. Per il mio uso è buona ed è come me l'aspettavo. E' arrivata ben confezionato ed ha rispettato i tempi programmati per la consegna.

The ratio of sturdiness and cost make this product worth to buy. I have a small collection of tools and they all fit snuggly in this box. Would recommend for people who have a smaller set of tools for daily upkeeps and small projects.

Use it to hold my tinting supplies and works great, latches are sturdy and would buy again
